@Softnessa_ Do the work you usually put off while in a public place but with headphones. The combo of headphones to combat sensory overload and a public place meaning people plus a new area to stimulate you is a great combo to beat procrastination.

@Autistic_Lauren Taking things literally! So many people think it means that we can't grasp abstracf concepts, when actually it's closer to not reading 'between the lines' of intended meaning automatically based on tone, body language, etc.

Asking autistics, what would you say is the most commonly misunderstood aspect of autism?

A good decade before I realized I was trans, my uncle & I got into a heated argument about Caitlyn Jenner when she came out. He was baffled when I said 'no I don't like her but I'm not gonna misgender her over it'. Shocker, he was awful when I came out & I cut him out of my life

@Jenny_1884 @russell_susan No shame for donating when you didn't know-- I donated a fair share growing up-- but Salvation Army is bad news. They break up families if they're gay/queer, are really dehumanizing and abusive to people needing shelter, & let a trans woman freeze to death rather than shelter her
