@thatboydhill Edey was a way better scorer than Mara. Mara has the edge defensively but Edey's ceiling is levels higher imo.

@KyThom31 @acdmma_ It doesn’t matter that she was out cold. I’ve seen fighters out cold and take 3 more hits but the time of finish is never the first hit. It’s when the ref jumps in.

@Obviousans23341 @acdmma_ One singular step backwards doesnt change the fact Barber was out cold. He was gearing up to stop it, but Grasso locked up the choke and he noticed Barber was limp already. Its clear and obvious.

@KyThom31 @acdmma_ I would totally agree with you except the fight wasn’t stopped instantly… not sure why that isn’t translating. Beltran takes a step backwards as she locking the submission up. After the knock down already occurred. Clear sign he wasn’t going to stop it until the sub occurred.

The all-time assist leader has played more minutes than any player ever. Lost with Edey and led his team to a loss to a 16 seed. They had no better options.

But saying the nobody would take the NCAA all time assist leader, a guy who shoots 46% from 3, or a guy who scored 20 ppg last year is ludicrous.
