@willbeers @RockPaperSlark @GAZ__95 Herb Dean is probably more famous than half the fighters in UFC and I can think of at least a handful of infamous refs in NBA/NFL like Hugo Cruz and Joey Crawford. sports fans call out refs/umps (by name) frequently for bad calls, which is why VAR is a hot topic.

@RockPaperSlark @GAZ__95 I’m not the biggest follower of professional sports – I watch my home team every year until they’re out of the playoffs – but I’ve never seen fans default to pointing out the first and last name of refs / umps at a game when they don’t like a call. Is that commonplace?

I think people should speak up when they feel compelled to, but doxxing your fellow Professors and leaking internal Professor comms is despicable behavior. Don’t try to misrepresent that.

@DragapultNyc @TinySTea @willbeers 1. a Discord server is pretty far from private imo 2. a name is not sensitive nor particularly identifying information, especially not for staff that are (in my experience) milling around with name tags at every event.

@pangas_vgc @swiggvgc statement says otherwise on TCG, they--verbatim--blame it on the disruption first and not playing out the game actions in tandem. the boardstate was 2 Munkis with 2 counters on each, both counters are still present and on 2 with both Munkis on the board before and after.

@pangas_vgc @swiggvgc a singular damage counter and card sliding to the side is not a disrupted board state. the correct number of counters and all the cards were still apparent. we have no idea what the shaken table situation was as it occurred off stream.

@swiggvgc While I agree the people affected are going to be hurt and that sucks, their opponents are also damaged in this situation more so, because if the board state is disrupted before the match was over or the table is being shaken THAT MUCH during the match, I'd be pretty pissed.
