On 25 January 2024, Dr. Besigye appeared before Buganda Road Court in the “incitement of violence” case involving him and Mr. Lubega Mukaku. The state now wants us to believe that on 24 January 2024, Dr. Besigye was in Geneva attending a meeting to overthrow the government. Assistant DPP Thomas Jatiko’s indictment of @EriasLukwago is a blatant conflict of interest. For over a year, On the prosecutor’s side, it was Jatiko; on the defense side, it was Lukwago. Lukwago gave Jatiko a bloody nose in court while defending Dr. @kizzabesigye1 like you all have been witnessing. Unable to win legally, Jatiko chose to technically "eliminate" his rival by indicting him. Jatiko has a direct personal and professional interest in removing his primary opponent from the courtroom. Jatiko’s own charge sheet exposes the lies. The indictment claims Lukwago knew of treasonous plots between 2021 and 2024 "as president of the PFF." The PFF did not exist then. There was no PFF when Dr. Besigye was abducted from Kenya in November 2024. Lukwago’s case is proof that this is a rushed, manufactured political hit-job designed purely to remove a formidable defense lawyer from the courtroom. @adam_kungu .Dear @BalaamBarugahar , 45M per term can't run a School of 600 students. 13 government teachers can't teach the entire School. 65K per term is fair enough. Let parents pay that money. In Kampala, we have government Schools paying over 1.5M, & u know them.

@adam_kungu Here Balam is wrong. 44M can't cater for additional 21 teachers for 3 months per term. Teachers have to eat food, the cooks, electricity bills, Water bills, etc. 65K per term isn't much.
