The mental side of this plays into it more than you think tho. Rory knew he could make bogey. Made an uncommitted swing. If he knows he needs to make par you are going to see a more aggressive and typical Rory like swing. Not saying he wouldn't bogey but you rarely see Rory hit a slice like that

He actually got incredibly lucky to be where he was. Club length to the left and he's blocked out totally
