Still a damn impressive success rate on signing, considering we’ve not had a DoF for any great length of time since the takeover. Many of the signings (25 since takeover) have been development squad players because the U23’s had been neglected for years; and some of the first teamers signed were always going to be short term to help the club stabilise after 14 years of complete neglect under Ashley. Many of those have either been moved on already, or will this summer. I’d say finishing 4th, 5th, 7th and, potentially, 7th again this season + 2 cup final (1 trophy) + numerous other semi-finals and quarter finals in domestic competitions + 2 champions league campaigns, reaching last 16 this season is pretty consistent and steady progress.

It really baffles me how people can disagree with this. Progress has never and will never be a straight upward trajectory. He has gave us the best day of our lives and countless unbelievable memories. One bad season and we bin him? What does that say about us?

There was always a risk that some of our fanbase would become insufferable and entitled after the take over. That’s what is surfacing now. Hopefully the club hierarchy show a bit more gratitude towards Eddie than those fans and he’s here to prove them all wrong next season. Not that he should have to.

Miguel Almiron had more heart than any of the fuckers on display today not even a slight exaggeration.

If you think back to Eddie’s first couple of years, he had Almiron, Wilson and Longstaff, ASM, Dummett, Lascells, Anderson, and Ritchie in the squad. That’s a whole lot of heart and determination there. They may have been replaced by better footballers over time, but I’m sorry to have to say this, the current squad is full of pussies. We used to bully teams into submission. Now we get bullied. That’s further compound by the absences of Schar and Bruno. Arguably 2 of only 4 current squad players willing to throw themselves around a little (the other two being J7 and Burn) Not only do we need more and better players in the summer, we need lads who’ll run through brick walls again. Arteta learnt the hard way at Arsenal. He realised better footballers wasn’t enough for them to win anything because as soon as they came up against physical sides, they folded. He switched it up and made his side more physical. Something Eddie MUST do in the summer.

@Tedisiek Owned a model 3 for just over 4 years now. The rain sensitive wipers have a mind of their own. The headlights are impossible to position correctly. The radar cruise control in dangerous. Other than, thoroughly enjoyed owning the car.

Build quality not terrible. Only one misaligned panel. Boot opening sadly is a bit ridiculous however not a deal breaker. Seats actually rather comfortable. Interior is sparse however not distasteful. Child seats fit in the back and allow for adults to actually drive the thing. However acceleration utterly insane. Beautifully flat on corners. This one is double my initial EV budget however my wife came back smiling after a drive. I really liked it. Spreadsheet time when i get home

Apparently, the revenue generated from player sales from the summer is still available to spend (£160m), so we could get away with just one major sale (e.g. Tonali, Livramento) and the odd £10-15m here and there for squad players. The bigger challenge is going to be fixing our transfer approach. We can’t continue to sign every players for £40-£50-60m - it’s just not sustainable in relevance to our commercial revenue. We need a proper transfer plan and to widen our scouting network to find more cost effective, value for money signings.

I’m going to say it now so we are all clear. I’m not calling for Eddie Howe to be sacked because he remains the best manager for the job and has over achieved for four years. My view hasn’t changed on that. Yes this is difficult and he’s under huge pressure now but he deserves a chance to rebuild the team in the summer and go again. And I’m very confident he will bring more success in the future. Thanks for your time. Nobody will get me to change my mind. #nufc
