This is Vlad. He's a 23-year old who came to the United States in 2022 seeking asylum after being detained and threatened for protesting the Russian government. Today, he's quarantined inside of an Arizona ICE detention facility because of a measles outbreak. If he's sent back to Russia, he could face prison or be forced to fight in a war he opposes. Our country should provide safety for political refugees - not confine them in detention and expose them to measles.

I was talking to a friend today about all the barber shops on Colfax. He said he goes to one between Sheridan and Feds. They charge $50 for a fade. No hot towel. No facial hair trim or shave. Just a cut. In the last five-eight years, barbers have lost their minds.

@KyleClark Hick is a other Degette at this point. They fill their pockets and do what the others do. Maybe if they'd all stop complaining online, making videos and pointing fingers, they could work together for us, the American taxy paying citizens

Why did I get it so wrong? I assumed that the statewide weakness of the Gonzales campaign and the failure to fundraise well would mean Hick would be more insulated from the obvious anti-incumbent + anti-inaction frustration.

I messed up badly. Had I known the CO SEN Dem primary would be remotely this close, I would’ve attempted to organize a debate and covered the race differently.

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was a father of three. He lived in Houston for 35 years. On his way to work, ICE agents shot and killed him. His family learned from a video posted online. There must be accountability. We need a full, independent investigation.

No no, hun.. I’m not saying that you guys didn’t report on it. I’m simply saying I find the politics here insane. I agree the republicans are off. When we got here the head of the Republican Party.. oh my gosh.. she was so cringe.. and then some of the people they were backing.. cringe. Yet it seems like no one is center here, everyone is crazy left or crazy right. It’s really unsettling and off putting. So much so, my oldest and I, we didn’t even vote in the Primary. It’s not worth it. Truly beautiful state, incredibly scary direction this state is going.. and I’m so beyond glad I got my opportunity to get out of here.
