If someone is gracious enough to invite you to play at their private golf/country club, and the only way you can make it work is to show up 5 min before the tee time and leave the second you walk off the 18th green, just politely decline and hope you get another one later on down the line. Your host wants to HOST you - -have breakfast/lunch pre-round -show you the facilities -take some time warming up as you catch up on life -introduce you to other members -have post-round drinks and maybe invite the significant others etc. Treating these invites like a muni speed run is insane behavior.

Saw 216.8 three straight days on my scale at home. I can’t eat any less or shittier food ! I can’t exercise much harder. Still zero alcohol. Don’t give me the ole “muscle weighs more than fat” bullshit. This is infuriating ! Why did God give us the ability to get fat ?
