People complain about being lonely. Few ask if they are good company. The quality of your friendships is a direct reflection of you. You cannot attract high-value people with low-value character. Instead of trying to get friends, focus on deserving them. Be reliable. Do what you say you will do. Have integrity. Don't gossip. Be trustworthy when no one is watching. Be interesting. Learn new skills. Have a point of view. Stop complaining. Fix the person in the mirror first. The relationships will follow.

A mentor once told me: “You’re never selling. You’re offering an opportunity.” That one line flipped how I approach outreach (forever). Most people treat sales like a pitch: ➼ Talk about themselves ➼ Drop a CTA ➼ Pray for a reply 9/10 times? Crickets. Everyone knows when they’re being sold to - and they shut down immediately. But when you do the EXACT opposite? Everything changes. Instead of pitching, start offering insight. Every DM, every email, every call → make it free consulting. “Hey, noticed you’re doing Y. Here’s what I’d do instead - take it or leave it.” THAT builds trust. You’re not trying to sell - you’re trying to help. And when you help people see problems they didn’t even know existed - AND give them the fix - their first natural instinct is: “Damn… do you offer this as a service?” That’s when the sale happens. Naturally (without any pitch). Learn to sell like this, and you’ll never chase clients again.
