@Grady_Booch@gdb Those are models. Generally well architected software refers to how well the components / systems are put together not how are the algorithms or models are designed. Neural net design is different to software design?
A well-architected software project is one where the difficulty of adding a feature is proportional to the delta in functionality you want to add.
Small tweaks should be easy, and big new features that were not part of the design should not be too scary due to the existing code.
@Grady_Booch In that case why should this only apply to software engineering? Why not extend to other professions like a brick layer. For every brick layed it should bind to law or perhaps a Mc Donald’s employer serving food. Why not bind casual conversations with friends and family.
@Grady_Booch That’s last weeks technology. You should be investing in autonomous neural network blockchain hyper automation which uses the latest quantum machine learning self learning AI. Happy for my sales team to get in contact with your engineering team for more information.
@GoPro@GoProUK customer and product support is terrible. Got sent 25% discount on next purchase for being loyal but when used it costs more than your current offer. Why would I use the discount when I get just order from your website cheaper?
@samnewman Retrofitting blockchain it’s seems. Perhaps we can use blockchain to help diagnose our patients in healthcare or better yet in court. You have 60 seconds to make a ruling based on previous experience. Imagine how much time will be saved.
@Grady_Booch You stand against sexism, racism and promote equality at the same time you make a mockery on people’s religion. Double standards and disappointing.
@FosterDeRosa1@TakeshiGeneral@vwgti80@JeremyClarkson What are those sales people going to sell? Software, cars, manufacturing equipment etc all of which require a minimum of a degree to produce. People in software are making £200-£400k cause of their degrees. So what’s your point exactly?
@TakeshiGeneral@vwgti80@JeremyClarkson What utter nonsense and a stupid generalisation.
Some Pimlico plumbers are on over £100k at 24 and we have 4 sales guys under 30 who earn way over £100k and never went to Uni.
Uni is only useful for certain people and an utter waste for others.
If the teachers didn’t give you the A level results you were hoping for, don’t worry. I got a C and 2Us and I’ve ended up happy, with loads of friends and a Bentley.
@gfredericks_ Yes! I keep seeing programmers use "de facto" incorrectly, and understanding the dichotomy to "de jure" would help clear this up. Maybe a blog post is called for…
@Grady_Booch@reedhastings I can appreciate the rationale but at the same time that’s like putting all your eggs in 1 basket. If something happens to that engineer then that could have a big impact on the organisation. I think a balance is needed.
@KyleSpindler@SuperbikeFactor Apparently you fill in forms and are then ignored forever.
Good luck if you want more details of any of their bikes, because all they want to do is make you repeatedly fill in Part-ex forms.
There is no way to actually talk to anyone or buy a bike.

@samnewman I know right! If you into freakish cricket moments then you have to see AB De Villiers runout m.youtube.com/watch?v=zfPVB4… - watch till the end.
I just wrote a new JavaScript framework this past long weekend.
I'm currently hiring Senior Developers with 5 years' experience in my new JavaScript framework.
