I GOT BANNED ON @TradingLucid story: I made a promise to my Discord we’d run a 0 → $10K challenge with a prop firm the community chose. They voted @TradingLucid So we ran it. From eval → funded → $10K payout request in just 10 days. Over $20K in total profits. All done LIVE teaching entries, stop losses, and full execution while people followed along and learned. Then… I got banned. All the accounts get closed Reason? “Fraudulent activity” because people were copying my trades. Let that sink in. If I was losing money, they’d have no issue. They’d gladly collect from me and everyone using their platform. But the moment we win? The moment we hit payout? Now it’s a problem. There are thousands of traders streaming, teaching, and having others follow along across YouTube, TikTok, Discord but somehow it’s only an issue when you’re actually profitable. Instead of honoring the payout, they labeled it fraud and shut it down. 0/10 experience. I was genuinely excited to work with them… but this showed me everything I needed to see. If you’re thinking about using them think twice.

Are your entries failing? Start demanding V-shape reversals and LTF gaps It’s an easy filter and something you see at almost every reversal Phases of price filter everything.

@thebrianstonk the thing I don’t understand with all the prop traders recently with these large number of expenses is it means for certain a shit ton of accounts were blown but even the ones with high transparency never see to admit to accounts blown at the time?

People are surprised I spent ~$150k on prop firm expenses this year. But how much is appropriate to spend when you’re pulling in +$700k in payouts?

Example: On a $50k account with a $2k daily loss limit, if a position runs up +$3k and then retraces back to +$1k, you’ve effectively drawn down $2k from the intraday peak. At that point, Topstep will auto-close the position and lock you out for the rest of the day.

@TradeZella Please can you add a function to label trades as Break even. It’s skewing my stats as I never see it once show as BE, either a tiny win or tiny loss due to a slip or commissions.

Hey listen.. we don't overthink it but I do not think there is going to be vlog today! I would give you a really good reason, but there isn't one except staying up yesterday till 7am after a 12 hour gaming session... That on top of and all my plans getting canceled throughout the week leaving me progress'less with the land, house etc! I had the happy balance of streaming from 5-7pm... but it turns out streaming for another 10 hours ontop of that isn't quite productive towards your next day 😅 I've learned my lesson in the ways of trying to balance things!
