The alarmism around Transnistria's call for Russian "protection" has to stop. Yes, the Kremlin is eager to destabilize Moldova. State media will play it up for a few days. But maintaining the status quo is more useful & more feasible for the Kremlin than annexation/invasion.

Via a website he operates, Yunus claimed this new partnership allows Wagner and Russia a “legal way to interfere in the United States” and that it puts "Russia back on the ground within enemy territory with the ability to lawfully use violence if necessary.”
