@DrRubrick22 @AikadoLoR This would be true if it read "When I attack or defend, give me +2 might and +2XP if enemy is alone" because the if is part of the resolution. But the "if" here is not, it's "when I attack or defend, if enemy is alone" so it gets on the chain BEFORE the reaction and resolves.

@AikadoLoR Remember: effects resolves an inverse way that they were played, so, it will resolve first the response, then kha'zix checks if there are another unit there.

THE single most asked question all week in the judge discord. If opp walks Kha'Zix into your bf with one unit and you play another unit in response to his trigger, Kha WILL still get +2 and 2xp. His ability only checks if they're alone on entering teh chain, not on resolution

@siddharthkp @mattlickess People are also just taking for granted that "the 'cost' of code gen is so cheap". The rule of things getting harder, more time-consuming & expensive to change the further down the development lifecycle still holds - the baseline cost of code gen is the only thing cheaper.

i'm seeing a new problematic behavior emerge in medium-big companies because of ai somebody notices a performance issue or missing case in a feature they don’t own or maintain instead of creating a ticket, they try to be nice and prompt their way to a PR very nice but…

I find this extremely worrying, with many of people I respect saying things like "I no longer write code" or "let LLMs do it". Why did you start programming? Was it never the journey for you, but only the goal? I genuinely want to understand this, I seem to be the odd one out.

This is somewhat generous - he's always been a petulant child from the very start of things. It's not new. If you're new to TFT and you happened to stumble in a stream and you're turned off, this isn't representative. There are plenty of streamers worth watching.

Decided to finally cancel my sub to my most watched Twitch streamer over the past three years @setsukotft. He and his community's increased use of the "r" word recently has just completely turned me off the stream. He's also completely unapologetic for it's use. It sucks.

Texas Tech barely broke 200 total yards against Oregon today. 23-0. JMU had 228 total yards in the 1st half (509 total) AT Oregon. 51-34. Yet a nationwide smear campaign against JMU and the entire G5 ensued the following week.

This narrative needs to stop being pushed, especially by media members with large followings. 1) JMU scored six in the first half — more than Texas Tech 2) Even in the second half, JMU was still scoring on starters. Nick DeGennaro made Flowers and Canady miss on his TD — both starters. Multiple starters were on the field for Dippre's TD run. It was Canady who tackled Knight after a 49-yard gain (on the drive Barnett scored... with starters on the field). This is *not* me saying JMU should've beaten Oregon or would beat Texas Tech, it's just to point out that JMU did score against Oregon starters.

I'd have a lot more respect (and possibly be interested) for the split into tiers and have separate playoffs if the talking heads would just say the quiet thing out loud - that for the top tier they really want only a 16 team subset of the entire FBS.

Both Tulane & JMU had opportunities early where they SHOULD have equalized & kept pace. Would it change the final outcome? No, definitely not, but the narrative would be significantly different. But the self-righteous talking heads will only look at the box score & scream & moan.

Even though it’s 2025 and some people choose to not believe some physical truths, these are pretty undeniable. These G5 teams are smaller/slower/weaker and less skilled than they used to be. Also have less continuity. It’s not their fault. But it is the truth.

This is literally the same game as Tulane earlier. Getting absolutely run over defense, able to drive the ball methodically on offense only to make mistakes and come away with 3 or nothing.

There is one FBS, but the SEC & B1G have majority of the power. The ACC and Big 12 are in the same boat as the “G5,” they just haven’t realized it yet. They each have 1 team in a 12-team playoff, and the ACC almost had zero.

Something I'm really proud of is how far @TristateTFT has come since Set 6. We started by hosting a LAN once a year. Now we host 3+ events per set, finished a year-long circuit AND we have a crew of >20 people attending the Paris Open. I love this crew 😃

@BepoCarrot I’m nowhere near the player you are, but it has been hard to get the “be searching for a line ASAP” mindset from the last few sets out of my head. I’m slowly starting to see more success as I focus more on solid fundamental boards with my items/augments/hits.

Set 16 Day 5 I HIT EMERALD this weekend was a struggle In particular, the stage 3 changes hurt my playstyle a ton (losestreak + hardforce) so had to improve my boards. Also had to work on not tunneling too hard on certain lines. this set is fun so far

Troy’s backup quarterback was not in for most of the game. Even with that, Tucker Kilcrease played in 10 games this season, making multiple starts while Goose Crowder was injured.

Manny Diaz on James Madison: "I sat there and watched them play Troy at home last night. Troy has a backup QB in the game for most of the game. It’s a three point game until they ran away late. Said you can't compare going through the Sun Belt to going through the ACC.

@JMUsportsblog Oh I never took it as a slight against JMU - but it IS a slight against logic though. The transitive property doesn't hold for sports. It just doesn't. It (common opponent record) works as a 3rd+ level tie-breaker only, because what else at that point can you use...otherwise, no.
