@TheRealWizar I haven't played WoW for many years now, but from what I remember WoW UI and Graphics are extremely simple. Making it too realistic will increase player fatigue faster, imo.

Can someone explain to me how improving WoW's graphics would be a bad thing?

I swear I am going to shut Copilot down one day.

@KyrSmaw @TalkativeTri It's to much work, for that to happen they needed to had made a better engine before/when PoE2 developed into a separated game, remember that PoE2 was planned a 4.0/5.0 Expansion

This is HUGE for Path of Exile 2. After over a year of performance issues, especially on NVIDIA cards, it looks like employees of the company are commenting under threads with PoE2 shader problems trying to gain as much info as possible. GGG really putting in work going to 1.0. I know they said NVIDIA was not being helpful or responsive before, they must've made a large push to get some help leading up to full release and it's a good thing to, as this is the MOST COMMON PROBLEM players have with PoE2. Once it goes free to play, if these issues remain, there would be an absolute firestorm of valid complaints.

@KyrSmaw @TalkativeTri I absolutely love that they use a home made engine, but it has so many limitation at this point, and PoE2 doesn't use a 2.0 version of it, it's just the same old but with sparkles

@KyrSmaw @TalkativeTri Those are generic assets, you can enter a map with 16m Shaders, wait like 1min to charge everything, exit and open the same map layout and the game will charge again 16m shaders for another 1min, the most simple way to check this is opening and closing repeatedly the World Map

@KyrSmaw @TalkativeTri What fuckery? I'm on an AMD X570 system w/ 64G of RAM and still get these freezes. I don't think they'll do any driver updates on this.. it's rock solid otherwise.

@wildskar_ @TalkativeTri Vulkan puts a huge strain on your CPU because it's designed for on-board GPUs (sharing resources just like Apple's M chips). I would rather play with the freezes than fucking to my CPU. But you do you

@KyrSmaw @TalkativeTri They don't "cache" the shaders (most of the time), most shaders from the game are straight dumped, and the game is forced to re-download them every time, depending on speed and time spent, you can run Two exact same layouts (maps) and end up downloading them again.

@KyrSmaw @TalkativeTri No. I have 64 go and an AMD 98003d, still get freezes once in a while. Some evenings a few. Some evenings once every map or two maps. Pause saves me, but still.
