@ModernVintageG @kiwitalkz I mean given Miyamoto tied it into the Fox movie appearance for the direct, the film only came out 2 weeks ago in Japan and the majority of the Japanese audience would have probably gone and seen the film over golden week which just ended, it makes sense to reveal it yesterday

@kiwitalkz You should know enough about how the industry works to understand pivots happen. I remember a time where a game that was supposed to close out an LRG3 event was pulled the day before for marketing reasons. I doubt control has anything to do with it.

People are wondering why Nintendo randomly just dropped a direct out of nowhere for StarFox and gave a 10 minute heads-up, it was primarily to take back some of the control. Nintendo's company motto is "to surprise and delight the player." Nate leaking StarFox even down to the date as well as Nintendo's line up for the 2nd half of the year massively screws with that. So they did this to give people a reason to doubt him and doubt the leak and still somewhat surprise fans. Yes, it is somewhat dumb and petty but Nintendo are like that. I wouldn't be surprised if they change some of their line up for the 2nd half of the year as well as internal dates to keep fans guessing and take back control.

@DesuVGC Kings Shield nerf was fair, BST nerf was not

Besides Rock Slide being unchecked for more than a decade another thing that still baffles me is the Aegislash nerf. Dude was nowhere broken nor a top contender in all the formats he was played and for some reasons he had its stats and signature nerfed (Kingambit say thanks).

@HaydunnOfficial Iron head is nice for one shotting offensive Floette and ignoring Maushold follow me, and dual wingbeat one shots Sneasler through sash (you outspeed adamant as well) Even when I was trying it I was only bringing it as a counter mega to certain comps, didn’t justify the slot imo

Pokemon Champions is very underwhelming because of the massive limitations on game modes, Pokemon, items, and even attacks. Pokemon Showdown is vastly superior, I can use what I want there

Play Rough genuinely gotta be the worst move in the whole game. Only Physical Attack for an entire type lopsided to Special Attackers and is just worse in every way compared to its, “counterpart” lmao
