Despite securing a win, Tom Cleverley and Plymouth Argyle missed out on the playoffs on the final day of the season due to results elsewhere.

@WILLMANAGGS@androofrench Ah yes 90th minute equaliser by Semendo! You are right...but it felt like a loss... as you say it's not any better but I suppose it could have been worse!
This is the first time #watfordfc have lost the last five league games of a season in tier 2, 3 or 4. And it has only happened once in the top tier (2016/17), when they lost their last six.
The last time Watford suffered five consecutive losses in second tier was Nov/Dec 2000.
@neil_k_g@Adam_Drury1 And if you see Duxbury remind him that when he has blamed "injuries" being a factor in our demise that when Baah has been fit he has been on the bench so what is he on about...so many injuries needs looking at too...!
@Adam_Drury1 🤔 If you can Adam, please ask Ed post-match, why he gave Baah minimal minutes, and never started him? Baah seems like a confidence player, who would have thrived on starts? He has pace/ creativity, does track back defensively, and has a great cut-back too.
Season ending in predictably miserable fashion. Watford haven't been awful - Irankunda and Maamma missing good chances - but Cov have handed out another lesson in how to actually win matches. Vic Rd a picture of apathy.

This was me 11 years ago today when #watfordfc were promoted to the Premier League. Fast forward to today I have absolutely no emotional connection to the players, managers or board. They have destroyed my love for the team I have supported all my life
@PodcastJustin Yes it really is! Very alien! I'm even embarrassed to wear anything to show I am a WFC fan! Not because we are losing as been a supporter for 40 years but feel we are a complete joke, don't want to promote the club. My mission was to be remembered as Louise WFC fan but nomore!!
@SimmyKB Yes I have. Bangkok and Phuket. Highly recommend it. People friendly. Nice beaches. Very reasonable when you are there. Great weather. Plenty to do. We stayed at Banyan Tree at both locations. Can't remember who we flew there with - might have been Thai Airways but excellent trip
Day 3 of the Sydney Test is always an emotional day. The ground turns pink in an annual cricket tradition dedicated to raising awareness and funds for cancer treatment.
We received this moving email from one listener.
Paid £94k or £7850 a month just to sleep at work. Labour MP Carolyn Harris, can sleep without any fear of without losing her job.
Don’t you wish you could do that? Sleep without fear of losing your job and getting paid nearly £100k a year?
I know I would!!
Carolyn Harris it’s time to wake up and smell the coffee!!
It is crystal clear to everyone that the U.K. is struggling economically. We have to have a national debate about how much we can afford pay for. MPs on all side are terrified of this debate, I am not. You can be as rude as you want, it won’t change the need for this discussion.
One of the strangest halves of football I've ever watched.
#WatfordFC could genuinely be heading into half time 3/4-0 up, instead we're 3-0 down and down to 10 men.
Football 🙃
Desperately poor tonight. I honestly don’t feel like we will score unless it’s a worldy. That Louza for Watford is a player. We go again I suppose, nice easy away trip Saturday 🤣🤦🏻♂️
