$BTC - 69k ✅ In the last update we were trading at 66k. I said it was kind of a middle ground, but that if BTC managed to hold that level, a move to 69k was likely. That was basically my base case from there. Here we are now, at 69k with multiple taps into 70k. What’s my view now? $BTC PA hasn’t been anything crazy over the last few days. What we saw was mostly chop in zone 1 until yesterday when it finally broke and we moved up into zone 2. Right now we’re sitting at the base of zone 2. My current view is pretty similar to what I had in the quoted post. We’re at 69k and that opens two doors: first, hold 69k and push to 72k+ from here. Or on the other side, lose it and go back to zone 1, where 66k comes back into the picture very easy. Price has been holding 69k, and I see that as positive. It looks like a solid healthy move, but I’m a bit hesitant here. In the previous post I said that even though I had some doubts, I was in a fairly optimistic stance for an upwards move. In the current spot I’m more neutral. At this point I don’t have a strong lean either up or down. That said, if I had to take a position here, I’d rather be short than long. Why? Even if the move from 66k up to 69/70k has been healthy, you could argue we still haven’t broken the range highs we’re trading under, and we also haven’t had enough hold time to claim we’re in a dominant bullish position (in my opinion). Position wise I’m long $SOL and short $BTC as you may know. I see it as more likely we get a small BTC dip before more upside rather than a straight rip higher, but if I’m wrong, the $SOL long should cover it. Even while being on both sides I'm pretty confident I'll be able to close both trades green and make it to 11-0 W/L. So TLDR; I think we dip first and then go up, but I'm covered for the opposite. We’ll stay watching.
