Those who follow Niall Harbison @NiallHarbison, you can watch the live stream (no idea how this is being filmed or by who) of him running the marathon currently 2 hours into the distance. He's also chatting about the dogs, team, etc. Link: youtube.com/live/wMTkECsQN…

@philipnolan1 @irishdailymail So glad to read this, was just explaining to my husband what happened you. At the start I was trying to piece it all together. A good outcome, thanks for the summary.

@the4ofus @belfastEmpire @Cqaf A great evening.
Got chatting to the man sitting beside me, asked him if he was a big fan.

@drkeithsiau @ill1912 I’m so glad you are discussing this. Is the recommendation to encourage waiting or what should be done? I’ve been trained in cpr but this doesn’t get discussed. I know it happens though, still unsure what correct course of action is.

@ill1912 It’s the stuff of nursing folklore, ie when the patient tells you they feel very unwell and have the sudden urge to use the toilet, just before a cardiac arrest. I think it’s a sign of autonomic overactivity. Seen it a couple of times and may explain cardiac arrests in toilets.
