San Pedro resident Louis Dominguez was just a young man when he answered his nation’s call to duty, enlisted in the US Army, and became a forward observer in Vietnam.

Our 1961 American LaFrance with Engine 1’s KME at the Los Angeles County Fire Department’s Training Center in East LA. The Fire Department was hosting the annual Contract Cities meeting and dinner.

It is with deep sadness that we announced the passing of our dear friend, Gary Davis. A retired firefighter-paramedic, serving the County of LA for many years, Gary was also LA County paramedic #003 & technical advisor on Emergency! A great loss. Our prayers are with his family.

Being a Firefighter is the best job in the world until it isn’t. Today we lost a brother in the line of duty. We know little about the incident but we know that a family is living a nightmare along w/friends and fellow FFs. Please pray for our Firefighter and his family.
