Hamza Rizk & his two children.
Hassan Mansour, his wife, & their two daughters.
Killed inside their homes, late at night, as Israeli warplanes unleashed wave after wave of heavy strikes on the town.
The footage from the scene is hellish. Homes burning. Entire buildings torn open. Families buried beneath the rubble in their sleep.

Looks like @RepAuchincloss does have a highly qualified (for the district) and interesting challenger but he has raised almost no money and Auchincloss has an infinite amount. Poulos has criticized Auchincloss for taking AIPAC money and sending weapons to Israel, and for consistently voting to expand surveillance authorities and increase military spending. Primary is September though so the money situation could change.

Poulos grew up in Sherborn, attended Dover-Sherborn Regional High School, and went to UMass Amherst on a Pell Grant before earning a PhD in political science and computational science at UC Berkeley. He completed postdoctoral work at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he worked on predicting diabetes treatment outcomes using AI methods. Most recently, he worked as a contract specialist for Scale AI, contributing to benchmark projects that evaluate frontier AI models, including one published in Nature and another presented at ICLR, a top AI conference.
His platform centers on what he describes as the interconnected consequences of AI-driven automation: Medicare for All to decouple health insurance from employment, universal basic income to provide an income floor, strengthened collective bargaining rights through the PRO Act, and corporate taxes on automation to fund these programs.

Here’s @RepAuchincloss coming out against the presumptive Dem nominee in a crucial swing state. Probably actually helps Platner to have Dems like Auchincloss against him, but I still wonder if he’ll hear from Dem leadership or if they’re quietly ok with Collins.
