Millions without healthcare and food assistance.
Trillions added to the national debt.
All to fund tax cuts for billionaires that weren’t even asking for them.
Donald Trump’s bill is a betrayal to the American people.
@AndrewYang There is no dispute. One Man is making every campaign promise, he’s only six months in…
The other, well, he’s shown himself. Jumping to whatever benefits him….
It’s a pathetic showing of character for @elonmusk
NEWSOM on Alligator Alcatraz: "They're not serious people. What an embarrassment. Imagine the rest of the world looking at that. $450M a year of wasted tax money for pure theater”
Someone so critical of tariffs and price increases should do some digging on the impact of an immediate 100% increase in minimum wage. Increase everyone’s taxes significantly and they’ll charge more for everything, as well. Dramatic increases in expenses is not the answer for fucks sake
So yeah—Fox News accidentally made Zohran look like the most pro-family, pro-baby, pro-worker candidate in the country.
And if that’s socialism?
Then maybe America could use a little more of it.
🖊️ Signed,
A very tired Gen Z who pays taxes and wants diapers to be free.
Fox News just accidentally made Zohran Mamdani sound like the most pro-family candidate in America.
Free childcare. Baby baskets. $30 wages.
Tell me where to sign.
“Came all the way” to an app on her phone… where newsom’s post probably popped up top of a feed. This has really plagued her.
I’m guessing you don’t live here solely based on your affinity for eastern sports teams, but while he may have passed or stood for various things you’ve listed in your other responses, his policies of infrastructure management, homelessness, and overall budget management has proven to put the state in a much worse position than where it was when he was elected.
@TomiLahren@GavinNewsom Daily reminder that you came all the way here to obsess over a guy you claim does nothing. Sounds like someone’s more bothered than they want to admit.
Your daily reminder that Trump still has 4,946 troops sitting around LA doing nothing.
Meanwhile, he has weakened our border safety operations -- slashing the National Guard's fentanyl and drug interdiction force by 32 PERCENT.
He is actively endangering our communities by keeping these troops in LA.
Yet should we have progressed from that point since Obama? (While looking past your pointed accusation)? Maybe. But if we progress from that point, the homeless crisis in California, the deficit, mental health, and success of its population should have progressed within California to garner the type of focus away from his failures that Gavin is attempting as California’s own “king” (see: random taxation on gas with no public calculation, misused tax dollars for homelessness - tea tax anyone?)
@eddyblockanna@Goldenmom1007@GavinNewsom Planned by the last president, who took more vacation days in a four year term than any president in the last five decades. Maybe fact check before you reveal your own lack of intelligence.
@Goldenmom1007@GavinNewsom This is exactly how fucking stupid you cult fucks are. Everything going on in this country and that fat orange bitch golfs, tweets, and wants a military parade for his birthday like he’s Kim Jong Un. Stupid ass bitch.
Q: "Do you believe that Newsom should face consequences in a legal way?"
.@SpeakerJohnson: "That's not my lane. I'm not going to give you legal analysis on whether Gavin Newsom should be arrested but he ought to be tarred and feathered, I'll say that."
Californians pay the bills for the federal government.
We pay over $80 BILLION more in taxes than we get back.
Maybe it’s time to cut that off, @realDonaldTrump.
@FlindersJimmy@realsnoopbailey@rmartingolf@BarackObama The math isn’t entirely accurate, but you’re further off than he is. Makes sense why you guys never understood the issue of inflation, it is 14.7% annual growth, which means it compounds. It’s also 11 years.
@realsnoopbailey@rmartingolf@BarackObama There’s no way a family got health insurance for $426/month in 2013 unless it was with a $10K deductible. Also, in what math world does 14.7% times 12 equal 369%??
Right now, Republicans in Congress are trying to push through a bill that would put millions of Americans at risk of losing their health care.
They want to cut federal funding for Medicaid, take away tax credits that help more people afford coverage, and raise costs for working class families.
The jobs weren’t lost. People were placed on temporary unemployment and nearly all were hired back once markets opened again (financial markets, physical markets, etc). All I am pointing out is the propensity for each side to claim a win when, rather than causing such result, the result was baked in. It’s like Trump claiming he single-handedly lowered inflation in a month. Both are invalid.
@LADuke720@LindaHamlett19@RetroAgent12 Where would one start to recover from a global collapse event like that one, if not by recovering jobs and industry that were lost??? If Trump causes a global recession, will he not claim the recovery gains? Yes. He will.
@GavinNewsom Imagine if this much time and effort were dedicated to solving the issues of the state rather than keeping sweat off your headshots for the next office you’re pursuing
NEW: We just launched a new site to call out the misinformation machine that consistently spews lies about CA.
We’re the 4th largest economy in the world.
Our population continues to grow.
And we’re done letting the trolls define the Golden State. We’re going on the offense and fighting back — with facts.

A series of idioms and borderline Star Wars quotes as a counter to what truly happened, if we are pointing to stats. That’s one way to argue.
I said he claims he decreased unemployment, which he claims. But unemployment was elevated because of an economy that required people to leave their jobs for the pandemic. Which you’ve pointed out as an issue Biden had to overcome, rather than also statistically benefit from as a pseudo-“win”. When many economists state that the economy was already rebounding from the lows of Covid when he took office, thus removing the need for another $1000+ check, which led to runaway inflation that may have “decreased” over time, but had compounded to levels where everything is much more expensive now.
Please tell me how one in the hand is worth two in the bush or early to bed and early to rise will make me wise, and because of that, I need to second guess my existence.
@LADuke720@LindaHamlett19@RetroAgent12 Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans. You have to see the world as it reveals itself. Recovery was the only option. To say that these were gains that were already in place ignores that progress was made and problems were solved. Your assessment is dishonest.
@soulconnect4@LindaHamlett19@RetroAgent12 The global part of the pandemic died in 2021/2022, it provided the unemployment that Biden’s stats piggyback on as a “gain” from 2020/2021, however
@charise_lee Definitely not the lack of a primary to choose a candidate. A candidate that avoided certain interviews that were unscripted. Jfc it’s always race.
