So far this year, there has been 1113 traffic collisions reported in 77th Street this year. Our greatest risk intersections are: Figueroa/Florence, Slauson/Western, Slauson/Vermont, Figueroa/ Slauson. Remember to follow all traffic safety rules and minimize distractions.

As we investigate these incidents and continue to work with the LASPD and Hawkins HS, we urge parents, students, and community members to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activity.  Extra patrol will be provided around the school.

The LAPD 77th Street Area is actively addressing a recent concern involving female students at Augustus F. Hawkins High School located at 825 W. 60th St.
