A woman with a medical alert dog sat beside me on a flight once, and the dog would NOT stop pawing at me and whining. After like the third time, she awkwardly goes, “Okay this is gonna sound strange, but my dog usually does that when someone has a heart issue… you might wanna get checked out.” I laughed it off at first, but months later I mentioned it to my doctor during a checkup and turns out I actually had a mild irregular heartbeat.

I think maybe this isn’t the place for me. This is not a complaint, just an observation. My original content isn’t wanted on X. That is obvious. The numbers (analytics) show that. The lack of response. The lack of engagement. It isn’t about the money. It’s about the different rules for different people. Accounts that post regurgitated content. Vile content. Unoriginal content. All boosted. Grok says one thing, support says another. I’m told by X support there is a violation on my account, which is why I am unable to switch to professional/creator mode. I was never notified of this “violation.” And they can’t tell me what the violation is or when it happened. Just that it’s there and therefore I’m not eligible. It’s gotten to the point where I am afraid to post for fear of a violation, suspension, throttling, etc. I follow the rules. I’ve never broken a rule on X. Ever. I pride myself on being honest, transparent and kind. The advice from Grok (and others) is to only post 3 times per day. Post threads. Reply right away. But only once. Space it out. Stop replying. Do a refresh. Don’t post for 3 days. Don’t reply for 7 days. Really. Grok says my account is suffering from “algorithmic deboosting.” And that is likely from replying too much. Grok says not to reply to others more than I post. That isn’t me. And it’s wrong. It’s all just…wrong. They tell us not to act like “bots” but isn’t that what they’re trying to turn us into? Goodnight.

Resolution in Support of Maintaining Affordable Over-the-Counter Access to Hemp-Derived THC Products and Promoting the Texas Hemp Industry THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Republican Party of Texas supports the continued availability of hemp-derived THC products as safe, affordable, over-the-counter options for adult Texans (age 21 and older) seeking medical relief; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Republican Party of Texas opposes any legislation, regulation, or policy that would move hemp-derived THC products to a prescription-only model through the TCUP or similar mandates, as such changes would dramatically increase costs, raise insurance premiums, limit patient access, and harm veterans and families; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Republican Party of Texas recognizes the broader economic and agricultural benefits of hemp, including its role in soil remediation, crop rotation, job creation, and production of valuable goods, and supports commonsense regulations that preserve a vibrant, Texas-based hemp industry without burdensome taxes, fees, or restrictions that threaten its viability; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Republican Party of Texas calls upon the Texas Legislature, Governor, and relevant state agencies to protect over-the-counter access to hemp-derived THC products with practical rules focused on age verification (21+), accurate labeling, product safety, and preventing sales to minors—while rejecting measures that would effectively ban or severely restrict the industry; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Republican Party of Texas urges Texas’ congressional delegation to advance federal reforms respecting states’ rights, supporting veterans’ access to beneficial products, and preventing federal overreach that could undermine Texas’ hemp economy; and BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be provided to the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Speaker of the House, members of the Texas Legislature, and Texas’ Republican congressional delegation to affirm the Party’s commitment to liberty, affordability, patient choice, agricultural innovation, and economic freedom.

I’m about to get married, and my fiancé knows I have an inheritance that was left to me by my grandparents. It’s in my name only, and I’ve been saving it for years.
