@TommyMoffitt holler at your boys @mspears96 and @Realrclark25 for counting these reps.
Nose to turf. Full extension. Flat back.
Someone get @LBoyd_LSU to show them how it’s done.

@jchillz75 @WBRZ Sorry friend. LSU is deep rooted in patriotism and I don’t think this decision changes that. It keeps players focused on the game and out of the political platform.
English

@WBRZ Amazing how many people are for LSU not being patriotic! Sports in our country have historically played the SSB! That’s the problem with our country, instead of coming together, we are falling apart! It’s shameful!

LSU will not change its football game pregame show to accommodate a request by Gov. Jeff Landry to have the players on the field for The Star Spangled Banner. wbrz.com/news/lsu-won-t…

@JeffLandry I appreciate the sentiment and the point @JeffLandry is trying to make. Thank you Sir. If it’s not in protest, let em stay in the locker room and prepare. Many years ago, NFL teams did the same
English

@JeffLandry As an active service member and a former LSU athlete, I prefer our teams to remain in the locker room for the National Anthem. It’s game time. No need for the media scrutiny or ill perception. Play your game, love the right to do so provided by the great men and women who serve.

My mother coached women’s high school basketball during the height of desegregation, no one has a greater respect for the sport and for Coach Mulkey. However, above respect for that game is a deeper respect for those that serve to protect us and unite us under one flag !
It is time that all college boards, including Regent, put a policy in place that student athletes be present for the national anthem or risk their athletic scholarship! This is a matter of respect that all collegiate coaches should instill.
