@Cassie_Boness I think this has spiraled. the original argument stemmed from someone telling a psychologist they shouldn’t be called a doctor. I don’t think the clinical psych PhD/MD comparison is necessary but I think it’s fair to inform the public about why we are called doctors

I find the clinical PhD v MD/DO comparison that happens on this app so exhausting. It’s also a major barrier to collaborative, multidisciplinary care. Perhaps we should stop centering ourselves and put that energy into serving our patients and communities.

And people are notified of the risks before taking the meds.
