Every year 1000+ US medical students don't get a residency spot. Foreign medical students take these spots plus the 16,000+ residency spots we can't fill with Americans.

They still cook the same foods. They marry other Indians. All of this has created Indian enclaves in towns across the country. This is why a foreign-born Indian can successfully be elected to office. His support comes from other foreigners and their offspring. Indians are not American. They may have citizenship, but they aren’t American. They have a homeland to flee to if needed. I, on the other hand, have no other identity. I’m a Heritage American whose roots in this land go back 400 years. I have nowhere to go if the U.S. collapses because this is my homeland. We are not the same. And I’m sick and tired of people like this man insisting we are.
