So I wanted to post about this to encourage people to advocate for themselves in healthcare. I know HCWs often don’t listen to patients and doctors still have a lot to learn about airborne infection control. But we must keep speaking up. If we don’t ask, we don’t get! 8/8 end.

I had to have an endoscopy recently and I was worried about all aspects of it: the PEM, the side effects, the procedure itself and the risk of illness, as I obviously couldn’t mask during it. At my pre-op, I asked the nurse if they would mask for me and he asked why… 1/8

For the last 20+ years, this 200y/o Georgian house has had ALL its grass cut regularly. Since moving in at the end of March, I’ve now chosen my paths & have started the long journey of turning this 1 acre plot into a haven for #wildlife. Here’s to a #NoMowSummer 💚

No one is mentioning that in this discrimination against the disabled by Labour they have also decided that people under 22 are not disabled and therefore will get no help AT ALL.

6 years from now you will see someone suffering from SSPE in the USA, an incurable, deadly consequence to measles The ruling generations are pulling up the ladder with them for everything, from health, to climate, to global peace.

Despite physicists revising theories of gravity's mechanism, we know and observe it exists. Despite immunologists like Marc Veld, ignorant of covid's immune harm and the mechanism, we know and observe both the mechanism and the effect. easychair.info/p/the-proof-of…

Labour can't just pretend that Covid and its effects are over. They need to take swift and decisive action. The Green Party have a clear #Covid and #LongCovid policy. When will Labour act?

And I'm not on my own. The mass-disabling event of #LongCovid has affected millions of people. Government can't just stick their head in the sand and pretend it's not happening. It's long past time for serious action. We need treatments now!

This is me playing extreme devil’s advocate but it does seem ironic that when there was a threat that the NHS would collapse in 2020, profound societal changes were introduced. Now that it is absolutely collapsing, it appears the new protocol is simply to watch it happen

@KashPrime @GidMK Kashif is spot on, plus considerable & cumulative risk of LC. Both ⏬️by vax. Isn't SARS2 also leading infectious cause of death for kids in the US? Immunologically, 1st exposure always highest risk, so vax, don't infect. Population vs individual risk. jpeds.com/article/S0022-…
