BREAKING: New numbers show the economy is growing at its equal fastest annual pace in almost 3 years and private sector investment is booming. Today’s National Accounts show the Australian economy grew 0.3% in the quarter, to be 2.5% higher through the year. All of the growth in the March quarter came from the private sector. This is very solid in the circumstances. It shows how resilient our economy is at a time of substantial global economic volatility.

@vincent_vancode @Westpac I got the same with St George, they blocked a transfer to an exchange then I spent an HOUR answering their questions, absolute invasion of privacy. I told them to just refund the money and then I went to NAB told them I will be sending $ to crypto exchanges & have had no issues

I jsut heard from a friend that if you transfer from @Westpac to a crypto exchange, they will block the transaction, regardless. Then the fraud team call you up and ask you a bunch of questions. One of them: What token will you be purchasing? How much do you intend to invest in crypto? And when they refused to answer, the bank told them "we will cancel this transaction". I mean, WTF, this is no longer fraund prevention, this is purely HARVESTING private information. Australian Privacy Principles dictate that you must only collect bare minimum information required to provide the relevant service. How are these two questions related to fraud? If someone said $PEPE, or a high risk meme token, does that mean they reject the payment? This is a joke and another example of how Australian banks are inching their way into your privacy. I would advise anyone looking to open a bank account to not consider Westpac. I myself hate them, for this and many other reasons.

I 100% agree it’s not ideal, however, it wasn’t something on their end and if you look at the GitHub, you can see they have been working and testing since their announcement. It wasn’t just something they were able to release at any point. It’s disappointing but I have faith the team will comeback strong next week.

Delays suck, but this update tells you how serious the rollout actually is. This isn’t just a wallet rollout. The explorer is already showing digital United States Dollar (USD) activity on mainnet. As far as I’m aware, this may be one of the first examples of actual digital fiat moving through a blockchain like this instead of just stablecoins. That matters because fiat and stablecoins are not the same thing. Stablecoins are tokens pegged to fiat. Digital fiat is actual fiat/account value moving through regulated infrastructure, banking partners, anchors, permissions, and compliance rails. That distinction matters because stablecoin systems still largely operate outside the traditional banking system. Digital fiat infrastructure allows: Real payment routing. Direct banking interoperability. FX settlement. Merchant processing. Institutional account infrastructure. Compliance native transfers. Programmable financial applications. In other words: not just tokenized dollars moving between wallets, but regulated financial value moving through interoperable banking infrastructure on-chain. That is a completely different category of infrastructure. Frustrating delay, but this is clearly much bigger than people realize. $kta It's not even a partnership. Visa isn't using the network. It's keeta using their services. Same way keeta uses swift. Same with google cloud. All these "partnerships" is just keeta using their services. It's like me making an AWS app and saying Amazon is my partner.

$KTA was expecting a bigger reaction at this specific area but clearly not enough demand and also broke below wick of 3D candle. Think there is something i’m missing out here + quite a big hit on my portfolio. Time to do some reflection now but have swapped it back to $ETH as I think i’ve given it enough room to recover. Few things that irked me recently was the lack of usage of the network, ambiguous timeline of roadmap, allegations about the google spanner infra, credibility of team (ezra) and their failed fintech under same name Keeta in 2023 + track record with failed startups in the past. Ex google CEO invested in the 2022-23 Keeta and was definitely really good PR for this cycle which got me intrigued. I don’t think I have the full picture here so chart + reputation wise i’m convinced it is not worth it for me to continue investing in Keeta, not because I understand the fundamentals are flawed or team is unreliable but more to the fact that if people are not using the network it would just become a typical ghost chain that bleeds value.
