Rudy Giuliani was given 100 passes for being the 9/11 Mayor, but his actions around the election of 2020 made him a traitor to the American people. He went to swing states, including mine and he just made shit up and lied to try and get a guy into the White House who lost the election. I think 60 or 70 cases were adjudicated around that election and Trump lost them all. Rudy was one of the few to suffer actual consequences but they were civil and financial not criminal like they should have been. He went from being America's Mayor to America's Traitor, tried to steal our votes and he failed but in the process he did untold damage to our democracy.

BREAKING: Pete Hegseth faces PERJURY ACCUSATIONS after repeating this false claim in Congressional testimony twice! Lying to Congress is perjury. It carries a penalty of up to five years in federal prison and significant fines. Pete Hegseth may want to consult a lawyer. At a House Armed Services Committee hearing on Wednesday, Hegseth claimed that "in 2024, troops were deployed to polling locations in 15 states" under President Biden. He repeated the claim twice for emphasis, pointing dramatically at the accusation as if he'd caught Biden red-handed violating federal law. CNN fact-checker Daniel Dale contacted all 15 states Hegseth referenced. Every single state that responded said the same thing: no troops were deployed to polling locations. Not one. Iowa's National Guard spokesperson put it plainly: "We have never gone to a polling station as part of an election." Arizona's Guard said two personnel were on cybersecurity standby — "No such request was made." Pennsylvania: "No Pennsylvania National Guard members were located at polling locations." North Carolina: "No personnel deployed to polling stations." West Virginia: "We did not have personnel present at polling stations." Delaware, Illinois, and New Mexico — all the same answer. Some states said their Guard wasn't even formally activated. Oregon pointed out it conducts elections entirely by mail, making the claim doubly absurd. The Defense Department received CNN's requests for comment and chose not to respond. When Democratic Senator Elissa Slotkin challenged Hegseth on his false claim at a Senate hearing Thursday, he didn't correct himself. He repeated it: "By the way, in 2024, under the Biden administration, 15 states did deploy troops to polling stations." Again. Not true. Again. Under oath. Before Congress. There is an ironic footnote here. The general election in which National Guard troops were actually deployed to some polling locations was 2020, during Trump's first term, when election workers couldn't perform their duties because of COVID-19. Hegseth apparently has the administrations involved confused. Or he's lying. Given that he repeated the false claim after being corrected, the latter seems more likely. Perjury — knowingly making false statements to Congress — is a federal felony carrying up to five years in prison. James Comey was indicted over a seashell Instagram photo. Hegseth made demonstrably false statements to Congress. Twice. Under oath. We'll see which one the Justice Department prioritizes. Today’s trump speech at the small business gathering dissected. Warning: This tweet contains graphic language that the author hates and embarrassed by. Trump threw a bone to, the fucking populists, the neocon war bastards, the cult of stupid MAGAts, the trickle down freaks, the faux patriots, the gun masturbating goons, the white racist basement dwellers, the Jesus nationalist holy rollers, the identity politic freaks, the money worshiping oligarch dicks, the Israeli genocidal mafias, and the CONservatist con artist Republicans. He applauded the fuckers, who played a very ugly and vicious game to steal and to hold power over us, and claimed 8 to 9 more years. At their 23% approval, this speech shows, they have gotten too cocky and fucking it up by dementia inflicted trump and a guy on a couch. Now, they are just assholes, knowing their days are numbered. But, as Dan Bongino so “eloquently”expressed, they are going to jail.

I can't help but think of all the lives Rudy Giuliani destroyed. All the bribes he took. All the lies he told. All the laws he broke. Don't get it twisted. Rudy knew decades ago Trump was dirty and took the kickbacks instead of holding him accountable.

It looks like a public swimming pool instead of a beloved national monument. Trump tripping over his words here may seem like a small thing, but it's part of a worsening pattern of Trump forgetting phrases, visibly confusing himself, and rambling incoherently. If President Biden had made a mistake like this, there would have been wall-to-wall mainstream coverage about his mental fitness. This has been the most frustrating year of my service in Congress, and it isn’t close. Mike Johnson is the weakest Speaker in the history of the House. He has turned the people’s branch into a rubber stamp. In 2025, only 38 bills were signed into law, the lowest first-year total in decades. The House set a record this century for fewest votes cast in the first session of a Congress.  Johnson killed votes on tariffs crushing working families. He blocked a vote on releasing the Epstein files. He buried bipartisan bills under procedural tricks until his own members had to force votes through discharge petitions, setting another record. Meanwhile Trump bombed Iran without a vote, dismantled the Department of Education without a vote, and imposed sweeping tariffs without a vote.  Johnson did nothing, more concerned with political survival than anything else.
