Yeah, the family's statement is out there loud and clear on FOX5. Jason knew the prank was coming, was excited waiting outside to catch the seniors in their TP wars, slipped on the rain-wet pavement, fell into the road. The 5 teens (all 18, his students) stopped instantly to help till EMS got there. Wife & relatives: drop all charges, don't ruin their futures over this freak accident. Tragic either way.

The 5 teens (all 18) were charged:
Driver Jayden Ryan Wallace: 1st-degree vehicular homicide (felony), reckless driving, criminal trespass, littering.
Others (Elijah Tate Owens, Aiden Hucks, Ana Katherine Luque, Ariana Cruz): criminal trespass & littering (misdemeanors).
All released on bond Sunday. Teacher's family (wife & relatives) is pushing to drop all charges, calling it a freak accident where he slipped in rain & they all stopped to help. No further updates yet.
