#Leonardo’s Board of Directors, under the chairmanship of @pontecorvoste, yesterday unanimously approved the update to the Industrial Plan for the 2026-2030 period. Today Leonardo is presenting to the financial community the update to the Industrial Plan to 2030, first announced in March 2024, including its medium-term targets. The 2026–2030 Industrial Plan continues the growth strategy pursued by Leonardo over the past three years: becoming a multinational “One Company” with a clear, integrated and international industrial vision. The Group has been strengthened through the rationalisation of its portfolio, the launch of new products, strategic international partnerships and joint ventures, selective M&A transactions, as well as strong digitisation and enhanced production capacity. The @BritishArmy has selected SONUS, #Leonardo’s passive acoustic weapon locating system, to precisely locate enemy mortars and artillery on the battlefield. #SONUS is the latest iteration of HALO – Hostile Artillery Location, capable of detecting and locating hostile gunfire, mortars and explosions while remaining undetected. It is 70% lighter, 50% smaller, and requires less power than previous systems, and can be deployed in under three minutes – reducing the amount of time soldiers are exposed, and enabling them to provide critical information to others on the battlefield.
