Creedists, help correct me if I misstate something. 1. Jesus is God 2. Jesus is fully human and fully God 3. A person who is “fully human” can be called a “man” 4. Jesus did not become fully human until He was born of Mary 5. Jesus now lives in a fully human and fully divine state an “exalted state” with a perfected and resurrected physical body Therefore: God is an exalted man who has progressed from mortality to eternal life

@ThatGoldenChain "The god of Calvinism is morally abhorrent". If you think arguing about Latter-day Saints theology will "win" this debate, you simply don't understand how a debate works. It's irrelevant. Jacob said he would be happy to address LDS theology in a separate debate.

@LDSeongdo I’m not intending to dodge. The debate topic was on the morality of “the God of Calvinism” but Jacob had the understanding beforehand that the LDS view of God was on the table as well. Your guy didn’t carry himself well. That’s the whole point.

You don’t get to claim you won a debate if you admit to sloppy research twice during it and seemingly lie about the fact that you and your opponent agreed that the LDS God was on the table. LDS - Hold your guy accountable. If White tried that nonsense you’d rightfully pounce.

@ThinkerAtLarge @jonedwardcroft @ImKingGinger How are they not staying true? Someone submits a film to the Guild. The guild passes the film regardless of how Angel owners feel about it. They don't stop it (they said they wouldn't). This is them not staying true? You're delusional and haven't even seen the film. Get a grip.

But if they can’t stay true to their own image, what’s the point? Why allow outside influence to infiltrate your co and muddle your core message. I dropped my Angel support as soon as saw the twisted message of this movie. If they’re against capitalism, they need the support from it.

As of now I have not received a message from any Guild member saying that they "saw Animal Farm and voted for it." I have seen that people saw some of it, up to 30 minutes and didn't vote for it. I have not been able to confirm WHEN this movie/preview was seen. I have seen some people say they were simply asked to vote on whether or not they would like to see a movie about Animal Farm, but no details on the specifics. Which of course what conservative wouldn't say yes to that? The most reasonable explanation was that releasing Animal Farm was a contractual requirement to get Andy Serkis to star in Angel's Young Washington. Serkis spent 14 years trying to get this pig slop made. So this makes the most sense. But if that is true, the Guild had no power at all to reject it, unless there was a contractual clause that required The Guild to vote in favor beforehand which seems unlikely Serkis would agree to that. But it could be true. I hope a lot of these questions will be discussed on Tim Pool's show.

@LDSeongdo Its okay to admit that the guy you agree with lost the debate by his gaslighting, and publicly admitted sloppy research. The point of this post isn’t to say that White slam dunked on Jacob, it’s to say that you should expect better of your apologists.

@ImKingGinger You're jumping to conclusions. If it was presented to me in the guild, it was presented to many.

Correcting my statement is a counter claim. If there was no burden to correct, then why did you feel a need to do so? I was wrong about being made ahead of time, but that still doesn’t address why the board let it pass through in the first place and why it wasn’t distributed by other companies.

Can someone point me to anyone who is in the Angel Studios Guild that voted to support this new version of Animal Farm? I would like to talk to them and ask what it was about the film that they saw, and what they knew and how they voted. This is a serious inquiry. My running theory, if it was actually presented to the Guild, is that the guild has been co-opted. There is just no way that The Guild voted to allow a movie with a trans actor, and pro-communist message. If this indeed did happen. The Guild is Dead.

@IAmVicSarmiento @JordanHarmon @ImKingGinger Dozens of shows and movies are put into the guild every week. It is highly likely that some of these Guild members COULD have seen it but didn't because they didn't click through every film every week. Angel has 2 million+ members. Taking a representative sample seems appropriate

I went ahead and reread Harmon's response in the other thread I reference. I see where I may have misread what he was saying. But if not all members get to vote on the content because it wasn't put in front of them, can it really be said that the guild did pass it? You can already see in the thread of the OP that there were/are guild members who would not have let this pass. Seems to defeat the purpose of giving all members the power to greenlight.

@ThinkerAtLarge @ImKingGinger @TheMikeFlinn It's not a counter claim. You made an incorrect statement. There is no burden on me to correct your lack of basic knowledge. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Keep on yapping about it though.

I love Google. You made counter claim, you defend it. Why is Angel attached? The board had to approve it before voting, regardless of when it was produced, and their excuse is pitiful. Why bring an anti capitalism kids film, that butchers the original intent, to a supposedly ‘based’ studio? And how did it pass the board? All of them had to know that it would be voted in, simply because of the title and it’s a kids film.

@IAmVicSarmiento @JordanHarmon @ImKingGinger Not all Guild Members have the opportunity to watch all content. I only watched 30 mins because I was bored and uninterested in the film. It is baseless, because you're insinuating that The Guild didn't actually pass it and they just chose to release it.

When you say that not all guild members see all content, do you mean that they don't see the entirety of the content (like in your example of 30 minutes and skipping it), or do you mean that not all guild members get a chance to vote on the content? You say that my questioning of their integrity is baseless, yet they did pass this film. So I wouldn't say it is baseless. If it was distributed by any other studio, I would just as much question their integrity.

@ImKingGinger @RisesFromFlames I would like to know if all votes are counted the same even from people who only watched a small portion of a film. If you don't watch enough of a film then your opinion on it shouldn't matter. Not sure how they handle that though.

@ImKingGinger @RisesFromFlames I believe it was in the fall of last year. I don't remember the exact timeline. I only watched 30 mins and then withheld voting as the film didn't interest me. I do think it brings up an important point to ask Angel though, I COULD have voted even though I only watched 30 mins.

@ImKingGinger I was shown the movie in The Guild. I only watched 30 mins and was disinterested so I didn't vote. All you conspiracy theorists are pretty ridiculous. Angel didn't acquire distribution rights for the movie until 12/12/2025 which is well after when it was shown to me in The Guild

@ImKingGinger I'm a guild member, but I never saw it. I'd like to see the torch that was actually shown to the guild and see if it was misleading.
