@LEFTWINGMOT

I block morons - because I can't be bothered with them. I joined before 2024 but 'X' shut my account for no good reason so had to start again.

You can't have universal suffrage and an unrestrained government or people like this end up running things Here in the states the easy fix is to just stop pretending like the 10th amendment doesn't exist Otherwise, probably a good idea to put some restrictions on who can vote

.@rachelmillward: "You cannot actually solve the housing crisis in the current planning system because it begins and ends with profit. Developer profit is protected in this system. We need to have council housing at scale & that will take a change of govt legislation" 🎯

@martinshawx @ZackPolanski We should not get hung up on genocide or not genocide. The fact is that the Israeli government has been killing innocent civilians en masse, and it's just plain evil, and UNDENIABLE by zionists.

Israel is committing genocide, the vast majority of genocide scholars (of whom I am one) and human rights organisations agree. @ZackPolanski is only stating a well-established truth. The campaign against him is a campaign of genocide denial.
Saul Staniforth@SaulStaniforth

Melanie Phillips accuses @ZackPolanski of inciting hatred because he says Israel is committing genocide. Israel is committing genocide, & when it comes to who actually incites hatred, lets remember that mass murderer Anders Breivik quoted Phillips multiple times in his manifesto

Here is another of my regular bank holiday weekend requests where I ask you all for great album recommendations. It doesn’t matter what era or genre. Best album recommendation wins a retweet. 🎶

@ZackPolanski It seems to me the interviewer is implying that the marches are hate crimes, irrespective of what happens on them, just because some people think they are hate marches!? Surely that's nonsense.

When Jewish people speak out against genocide, why are our voices dismissed? And smirking while I describe someone Nazi-saluting at me isn’t just disrespectful - it feels deeply antisemitic. youtu.be/7VkfYJgLljE?si…

To make the jump from a mentally ill man attacking 3 people, two Jews and a Muslim, to saying peaceful Pro-Palestinian marches must be banned as a consequence, is totally irrational, bizarre and downright Orwellian. This lunacy from our politicians must be challenged.

@BarbaraSutton15 I don't think he apologised for the content just the method and timing of delivery didn't he? I'm ok with that. Rowley should apologise in the same manner.

The Green Party have gone from relative obscurity to triggering sustained multi day establishment smear campaigns. As horrible as it is to feel like we’re going through 2017-19 again, it conclusively demonstrates we are now a threat to the rich, powerful, and reactionary.

I feel strongly about the state pension and the threats to it because for me how a society treats its elderly is indicative of whether or not it is a good, decent society. And as someone who has been a carer for two very dear elderly parents I’m incensed when I hear commentators or politicians say that the elderly are now a ‘burden’ that ‘we can’t afford’. Old people are never a burden. It’s corrupt politicians- and those who want us to callously cast the elderly aside - who are the problem.

On Sky News, John Rees from Stop the War Coalition just completely dismantled the ridiculous claim that the pro-Palestine peace marches have anything whatsoever to do with the Golders Green attack.

Left: Head of Met Police Mark Rowley suggests that Zack Polanski undermines the ability of police officers to work Right: It seems that Zack Polanski, like many of us, was wondering why police officers kicked a man on the ground five times in the head I'm not anti police. I've never trained or worked in any part of policing. And I'm grateful every day that we have police men and women who run towards danger to protect all of us in society I can appreciate fast moving instances where officers have to act on their feet, especially when there's a dangerous person who stabbed two people, and they need to disarm them as quickly as possible But it's the five kicks to the attackers head which makes many of us wonder if that was an appropriate way to respond I've muted the video in the first playing so you can hear the commissioner. I've kept the audio in the second playing so you can hear the officers You can hear the police officers repeatedly shout 'drop the knife' as they're kicking him in the head. You can also see they're holding a taser, which presumably immobilised the attacker which is why he's on the ground not really moving. And when they pull his arm out to get him to drop the knife, his arm is shaking (taser?) We all rely on the police to keep us safe, but I don't think it's unreasonable to ask @metpoliceuk if kicking someone in the head five times is acceptable normal practice I'd welcome any clarity from any experienced police officer, or directly from the Met, just to reassure the public on the reasons why these actions were taken I'd also appreciate the integrity of responding with an explanation, not to assume that these questions are meant to demean or diminish the ability of our police to keep us safe

BBC News report that Essa Suleiman attacked two Jewish men Then say he attacked another man but don't mention the third victim is a Muslim man Why is the religion of the two men in Golders Green important, but the religion of the man in South London not important enough to mention? Is this Islamophobia?

A retweet by Zack Polanski is now the main story across every single media outlet. Two days ago, it was revealed that Nigel Farage failed to disclose a £5 million gift from a crypto-billionaire. It gets nowhere near the media attention, for straightforward political reasons.

Mark Rowley on @SkyNews re his open letter to @ZackPolanski. “I'm not getting involved in politics. I'm dealing with operations. I need my officers to have confidence to tackle the most difficult and dangerous individuals. Of course, there's always going to be sort of, sort of eccentricity and nonsense online. “But if an eminent person steps into operational policing and, sort of criticises officers in a way that can undermine their confidence to act, I need to support that…. He has stepped into operational policing with his criticism & inaccuracies & I need to put that straight”
