@KaruAlfaris @FBAwayDays Why would that rattle us? It was completely out of our hands as I said.
English

@LEGS223 @FBAwayDays They were kids and most weren't actual Tranmere fans, you lot are just rattled you couldn't send us down like we did to you years ago
English

@TheFootyFeed Hilarious calling Grimsby quiet and Man Utd the best, when we took the roof off our ground during our match with Man Utd. And all the Utd fans could muster was the occasional "Yanited".
English

@Jakey876757 @gangasrotagati3 @MerryOlEngland Probably on finance so it would be a liability by definition.
English

This is what the actual upper class look like.

the British concept, Weekend vibes
English

@MerryOlEngland Barbour, jeans and Hunter wellies, drinking pints, chatting to a girl called Charlie or Fiona at the point-to-point.
Quite posh, yes.🤪❤️
English

@MerryOlEngland Definitely not upper class.
Looks like some sort of young farmers meet.
English

@GTFC_Exiles Wrong. Barrow have an EFL history and Harrogate have earned their place infinitely more than Franchise FC ever will. Never punch down mate.
English

@JustinMacmahan @RealWillMcNeil Because men are generally better at everything compared to women, other than caring for other people. For obvious reasons.
English

@RealWillMcNeil I just mean why aren’t there more women training horses? Seems like it wouldn’t be a disadvantage to be female, and I know far more women that like working with horses than men
English

I’m completely ignorant when it comes to horse training, but I can’t think of one advantage to being a male vs female. How has a female trainer never won?

@wallacedadmsk05 It definitely is, and when you factor in the pence per mile which can be under 10p it's very affordable.

I can’t be the only one troubled by the growing narrative around the so-called “extinction” of red squirrels. We invited the greys here; they’ve been part of our country for well over 100 years, accidentally planting our trees. Where exactly would you like them to go, Mr Farage?

English

@collinso41 Mentality. That's it.
From what I could see things started going south at the start of the year over the cup scandal and Holloway couldn't cope. His attitude spread to the players and the fans.
English

Genuinely the most depressing end to a season ive seen in the past 30 years.
How do you go from 2nd to 9th in 10 weeks.
Absolute shite.

@janthony4004 @manxpie86 No civilizations were wiped out you total fruitcake.
English

@manxpie86 people who are using this as an argument against immigration are the same people who praise the british empire and literal colonialism where we did actually wipe out civilisations
English

Fucking mental replies and quotes to this

@mcgregormackenz @veritasalways1 @teaandabikkie Yeh I know Birmingham is particularly prolific, and everything is getting worse generally.
English

@flowerpotweller @Sargon_of_Akkad There's no positive characterisation though. It's all fat and ugly people.
English

I actually disagree with @Sargon_of_Akkad on this. It’s obviously supposed to be mocking but there’s something about it, no matter the intent, which captures something slightly real and raw and reminiscent about the working class people of this nation who are the one’s hit hardest by ethnic displacement.
Batfox Pictures@Batfox_Pictures
Released in June 1998, “Vindaloo” became one of the defining unofficial anthems of the 1998 World Cup. Created by Fat Les, featuring Keith Allen, Blur’s Alex James and Damien Hirst, it reached number two in the UK behind “3 Lions 98” and turned terrace-chant nonsense into a full national singalong.
English

@veritasalways1 @mcgregormackenz @teaandabikkie No, most chicken slaughter in the UK the chickens are stunned first, including halal. A small proportion are not stunned with halal because there's a legal exemption. Halal simply means death by a cut to the throat and bled out.
English

@mcgregormackenz @teaandabikkie I think all chicken is halal though. I think chickens aren’t stunned beforehand.
English

@LEGS223 @Nic21121970 @creepydotorg She slipped hundreds of meters down a mountain lol. That’s not something you just brush off and think you are ok

Last photo of Brazilian tourist, 26-year-old Juliana Marins, who was left to die by her Indonesian tour guide after she fell during a hike on Mount Rinjani.
After becoming exhausted during the trek, Juliana was left behind while the guide continued ahead with the rest of the group. Not long after, she slipped and fell hundreds of meters down the mountain.
Drone footage later showed she was still alive after the fall, trapped on a steep slope below the trail.
Rescue teams reportedly knew where she was but failed to reach her in time, leaving her without food, water, or proper protection in the cold.
Days later, Juliana was found dead. An autopsy said she died from severe trauma and internal bleeding after the fall.

English

@gwaunch @MostControPod This was 10 days and presumably he had clothes on
English

@MostControPod Mythbusters did an episode on this. They bought two pigs that had died from natural causes, sealed them in a car, and parked it for two months. Despite getting help from a crime scene cleaner, they couldn’t remove the smell and were only able to sell it for parts.
