📱 Smartphone Free Childhood?
Teachers, health professionals and policymakers gathered @ASFCofficial's Wham Stadium on Friday to tackle growing concerns over smartphone use in schools.
Led by James McBride, Headteacher of West End Primary School, the Smartphone Free Childhood event brought together education stakeholders to hear from leading voices, including @sarahsmithlab, Esther Ghey - Director and Founder of the Brianna Ghey Legacy Project, and Dr Sarah Wilks from Papaya Talks 🤝
Hosted in the club’s 1968 Lounge, discussions focused on the risks of unrestricted smartphone use - distraction, addiction, and exposure to harmful content - and shared practical solutions being implemented in schools.
