Your best hitter should never bat lower than 2 in the order because you average 38.5 plate appearances in a 4-5 run game. Your best hitter needs to be 1 of the hitters that get the 5th AB.

The Astros have used 22 different batting orders in their 22 games so far this season. Only Yordan Alvarez has started every game in the same spot in the lineup (second).
