@freshwaterjoeey @DevotedLegacy22 @TheCoreyBarrett I would change that sentence to he can’t draft offensive line because he has definitely had a lot of hit including Kamari himself. Not one GM is perfect and Caserio’s hit rate is in the top half of the NFL. More towards the middle but still top half.

@DevotedLegacy22 @TheCoreyBarrett Can’t pay everyone and Caserio can’t get these players on team friendly deals. He pays top market for players and can’t draft players to drive costs down. We should keep him but it seems hard

The Texans will be able to pay Stingley, Will, Kamari, Bullock and even CJ if he gets his stuff together. There isn't a snowballs chance in hell Kamari is traded or allowed to walk for a comp pick lol

@RooshWilliams Yet…… because we have KD. Team would be a disaster without KD. Orlando and Houston both ran into the same problem. Having high picks in drafts that did not have super star players. Houston got some good players but nothing franchise changing.

To give all Rockets fans (including me) some perspective: the Orlando Magic are a good example of what it looks like when a failed rebuild starts spiraling out of control and begins crashing and burning. That’s not what’s happening in Houston (yet). Thankfully.

@RooshWilliams Crazy thing Hakeem has such respect to his name that NBA players who were not even born to see him play still recognize his greatness. Thats just how good he was.

I cannot believe I've lived long enough to see a generation of kids try to argue that Tim Duncan is overrated. If yall ever try to come for Hakeem Olajuwon, then you're gonna have to answer to every Rockets fan on the planet.

Rockets tanked for years and didn’t get one super star in 4 years. Not saying Reed & Thompson are bad players but they are not superstars. Here are players picked at number 3 over last 20 years Luka -Lamelo- Tatum Jaylen brown -Embib-Bradley Beal -Carmelo- Pau Gasol - Harden

@Cptball @TexansCommenter If Dallas has any significant injury on offense they can spiral out of control into a 4 or 5-win season. Their defense is two or three years away just from being decent. Anything short of hiring Wade Phillips as the DC they're not going to be a factor anytime soon unfortunately.

@TexansJacob This is the way to do it. Out side of a team led by Tom Brady or P Mahomes no one has really repeated success and won multiple superbowls in a few year time period. if Texans get one Super Bowl in the next 2 years then this will be a massive success.

@TexansJacob @MarcoMier5 True but if you need 3 corners then you really need 4 because one is always bound to be injured.

If Houston was drafting today I would expect it to look something like this in the first 4-5 picks. - DT - OL - DE - OL/TE I think these are the clear positions for Houston to try and upgrade going into April.

@AaronWilson_NFL @YouTubeCreators Why do the Texans trade for players and give them. A raise before they even hit the field ? Gave diggs a raise and shortend the contract and some other players too

@LedyardNFLDraft @nickschwager_ Man thays a lot of negative things to say when the start of the sent is really a good fit lol Can’t be a run defender (prob important as a d line) Can’t tackle (kind of elementary) Too many penalties Remind me what part is good ? lol 😂

@KObjzy @TexansJacob Well you got to guard CJ somehow. Can’t do cheap on the line every year and expect it to work out. Guards typically age better then a lot of other positions

@Cptball @TexansJacob First he wanted to be in the west coast so you’d probably have to overpay to get him. Second he’s 32. Third in 3 years the WAJ and CJ contracts will kick in and it’s just a poor allocation of resources

@TexansCommenter What I typically find with NFL free agency Day 1 is typically over pay Day 2 is market rate Day 3 is usually a small discount Don’t panic if your team didn’t make a splash today Typically day 1 winners typically regret the deals 3 years later.

I understand the concerns about the Texans not fully addressing the OL yet, especially after last year. That frustration is fair. But approaching free agency by simply checking off needs in order is very different from addressing multiple spots while targeting the best value available. The Texans still have to show the full OL plan, but so far nearly every move has been strong value and has improved the roster. That’s better than overreacting, taking a narrow approach, and overpaying imo.
