@dfnewland09 @TomCantonMedia Liverpool were struggling to be a consistent top 4 team, had to sell Coutinho and used that money to buy Alisson and Van Dijk taking them to the next level. Newcastle got their coutinho bag from the sale of Isak but fumbled the sale, planned poorly and wasted it on poor players.



It’s easy for me to say, because I’m not a Villa or Newcastle fan, but I really don’t see why rules shouldn’t be put in place to stop uber rich owners coming in and spending whatever they want at any club like it’s a video game. Why shouldn’t it be related the revenues?
