@LFCpat511 I’ve said all these criticisms myself this season, I don’t need telling. I could see a style of play tonight though and like I said, it has to sustain over the remainder or there’s zero case to stick.

PSG deservedly through but Liverpool gave everything tonight and if they’d scored when on top, who knows? Still, that was a performance fans can get behind and, unlike many of them this season, suggested something is being built during this season. Key now to finish it strongly.

Arne got it so badly wrong in both legs. Like he has in many games this season. Theres no project here, theres no signs of where this is going. Arne simply doesnt know how to use this group of players, and hes a limited coach who is easily outthought. #LFC

@LFCpat511 Very fair, I just thought he’d offer more individual output, but then he should have a ton of assists if we could finish.

I’ve defended Wirtz plenty, but he does need to do more when he gets the ball. I thought he’d started to find his rhythm and his influence, but that’s slipped more and more. He has the talent, but confidence seems really low.

Dom gave the ball away on the half way line there. Under no pressure whatsoever. Our unforced error count tonight is ridiculous. You struggle to win games of football against anyone when you give possession away so easily. Dom, Salah, Wirtz, Macca all guilty of it.
