The scene where Marcie and Jack are just talking like regular teens as a storm rolls in is a particular standout for me. Sound design and lighting are crazy immersive

obsession is the first horror movie in a long time to make me say “wow i can’t believe a man wrote that” in a positive way. for a genre so dominated by the final girl trope i find horror to still be so misogynistic, and i’m so glad this movie does not fall victim to that trend
