This is fine in the hospital. But not for public health. We need to act during a pandemic killing millions. Preferring a 5day PCR over a rapid test w known 98% sensitivity is not wise.

@KrutikaKuppalli @DienBard @RRChamberland Lots of reasons for under reporting: people travel, don’t want out of network test cost, black Friday shopping, Doc office closed. Blaming labs without naming or specifying a single lab 🤨? Do we ever wait 4 days to culture blood? We run 24/7, misinformation is dangerous.

@DienBard @RRChamberland The point was that there will be underreporting from the holiday weekend which is what all of you who decided to jump on the tweet missed the point about.

Many labs are closed the next four days due to the #Thanksgiving holiday weekend here in the US so expect #COVID19 case numbers to be under reported. There will be an even greater backlog of tests and delay with turn around time than normal.

Back in LA, when I was feeling stressed or burned out, we would walk along the beach & I would practice tumbling tricks along the waves. I think I found my new happy place along Lake Michigan—no sand to do tricks on, but beautiful views, sound of crashing waves,& great company😊

@GcRox1 But so many poster sessions the only visitors I’ve had were the judges 🤣. ... and I’ve won... high points for sheer enthusiasm that someone would hear what I’ve done. Standing for 1-2hrs with 0 visitors would be worse 😂 🤷🏽‍♀️.
