At City Council Hearings, SEPTA GM Sauer acknowledged that there is a federal program for which SEPTA qualifies, which would enable the agency to purchase new railcars. No one asked the GM why SEPTA had not bought the new cars or why SEPTA purchased a new key card system instead

Today, we filed a challenge to SEPTA's 30% fare hike. SEPTA received the money it needed to keep operating, and has the money to buy new trains ( but will not because SEPTA wants to cut service by 45% and wouldn't need the new trains). SEPTA can and should roll back the fares

If the City offered Macy's what it gave to the owners of the Sixers: no R.E or U&O taxes for 30 years, free land, and help getting more would Macy's be closing, putting people out of work, and leaving consumers without a department store?

This year's NYC PA Society Weekend didn't only wine and dine white men. Diverse groups were also invited behind closed doors to network with the rich and powerful. Is this advancement? Or proof that the power structure uses everyone who agrees to uphold the status quo?

Governor Shapiro waited until after the SEPTA workers accepted a subpar contract, after the SEPTA board voted for a 25% increase in the key card rides, to announce he was "flexing" $153 million. Now SEPTA has extra money. Will they use it to hire the needed bus drivers?

There is no need for fare hikes or service cuts. At the last public hearing, SEPTA revealed it has $535 million in a fare stabilization fund. If SEPTA used 20% of its surplus, no fare increase would be needed, nor would any service cuts.

You don't have to look at Trump to see government officials shutting down democracy. The Publicly owned PGW is doing it here in Philadelphia, with the Mayor's support. This is why people don't trust government.

And then PGC would reconsider its own vote, without an independent report. At stake? the Right of The Public to Become a party to proceeding. PGC claiming the advocate it pays is all the Public is entitled to.

Philadelphia Gas Commission(PGC) "public hearing". PGC didn't include where hearing would be held in notice, nor what was being considered. Block public from entering building for over 30 minutes. Announced PGC's own lawyers would write report on hearing.

As gas commission public hearing, no copy of what is being considered. A north Korea hearing, first we decided to then tell you what we were considering at the hearing

And of course, according to the administration, we will not know the plans, until after City Council gives the owners permission to build. Alice In Wonderland, first the decision, then the trial
