Psi shares what he thinks about artists liking Mild’s posts in which Pi Scott spoke out about the case. #ทรายสก๊อต
“I think this is an important lesson about the influence these people have. They need to understand that they cannot act as if their voices carry no weight. This case is something very serious, and when you like a post about the property dispute instead of focusing on something more serious, which is rape, it reflects, at this moment, what is most important to them: possessions. Material possessions seem to hold more value than what is right. This is something that should lead them to reflect on themselves.”

Nanon shares a powerful article criticizing those who minimize rape and raising awareness about supporting victims of sexual violence.
The piece challenges the main arguments that have been used against Psi, such as: “He’s gay, you can’t trust him,” “This is a personal matter,” and “Why is he only speaking up now?”, emphasizing the importance of believing victims.
Some excerpts from the article state: “No one deserves to have their human dignity violated. However, we often see parts of society treating the issue as ‘not that serious’, this is the concept of a ‘rape apologist,’ people who minimize the violence of rape or place blame on the victim. Sometimes, people support the abuser simply due to personal closeness or relationships, before even listening to the victim. This contributes to a culture of impunity and silence. Without realizing it, this may reinforce the so-called ‘rape culture,’ where violence is minimized or ignored. Some people use a victim’s identity to question the abuse. In the case of LGBTQ+ victims, there are those who dismiss them by claiming they are ‘exaggerating,’ reinforcing harmful stereotypes and causing their reports to be discredited. Rape is a serious and unacceptable form of violence. It is not necessary to ‘take sides,’ but it is essential not to downplay someone’s suffering or invalidate their pain. This alone is already an important step toward reducing the emotional and social impact of violence.”

Psi Scott is LGBTQ+ and an activist in Thailand and had previously revealed that he was also raped and assaulted by his own nanny, who “took care” of him in place of his mother.
He revealed that, at the time, he told his mother about it, but she took no action, and the nanny continued working normally. After that, he no longer had the courage to tell anyone else, not even his grandfather, because he was terrified that the nanny would hurt him again.
Psi says that the only person in the family who truly loved him was his grandfather, and that he only found some peace when he moved into his grandfather’s room at the age of 12 to take care of him while he was ill. “My grandfather was never ashamed of me liking to play with Barbie dolls and was never ashamed of having a gay grandson. It was a period when I felt safe and under the protection of an adult,” he stated.
His grandfather, who was president of Singha, the famous Thai beer brand, left him an inheritance and properties, which is reportedly one of the reasons his mother is suing him.
Regarding the rape committed by his brother, Psi confirmed that there is recorded evidence: “Everyone in the family knows because they heard the tape where he admitted to what he did… But when I asked my family members for help, they told me to apologize to my mother.”
Today, his mother calls him an ungrateful child for exposing all the abuse he suffered.
