Today’s vote in the Senate is the most sweeping and consequential legislation to pass the Senate on climate change - not all we need, but a game changer. I am so grateful to all who tireless worked and did not give up - on to the House!

We did it. We passed the biggest climate bill that any country has ever passed. It is the reason I came to the Senate. The fight goes on, but for the first time, the American government is taking action that is equal to this moment.

To *three* generations of climate activists—from those who passed the Clean Air Act before me, to those who’ve spent 20-40 years on this trail, to the young folks who’ve raised the volume to 11—this is a big milestone on the way to a safer climate and a fairer society. Thank you!
