A Kherson resident I know shared this photo: "Artillery just hit our neighborhood. One shell hit a playground. A family I knew well was there. The father of four was killed. The mother and youngest daughter are hospitalized, in critical condition." Russians do this. Every day.

National Chornobyl Museum. It was. I’m devastated

Two women killed. Dozens wounded. Yet another vile strike by Moscow against Kyiv and its residents. Last night, the Russians targeted the very heart of our capital. The National Art Museum, the Philharmonic, the Music Academy, and the Yaroslav the Wise Library were badly damaged. The Chornobyl Museum was almost completely destroyed. Architectural landmarks of Podil and the historic center were also damaged: the Contract House, the Postal Station, the Church of the Nativity of Christ, the Kyiv Opera, and schools. This is a war against our culture, memory, and identity. For centuries, Moscow has tried to destroy everything that makes us Ukrainian. This is genocide. We are documenting each of these crimes for future tribunals. Our memory cannot be burned away by missiles. We will rebuild everything. My deepest condolences to the families of those killed. Strength to all Kyiv residents affected by this attack. Glory to Ukraine!

Even when Russia is defeated, even when and after Putin's regime has collapsed, even after Russia has paid war reparations, even when the next government in Russia were to beg on its kneels for an apology, even after all the Russian war criminals will be sentenced, there will be no reconciliation between Ukraine and Russia for decades, maybe for centuries. I will even refuse to visit Moscow as a member of the Ukraine delegation that will travel to Russia to witness Russia's signature of its declaration of capitulation.

Peace and Russia are mutually exclusive. Russia is like cancer.

Western countries, when russia starts collapsing again — keep your hands off. No more saving the empire. No more loans, “resets,” investments, partnerships or cheap gas addiction. No more feeding it so it can rebuild and return with another war, another genocide. The russian empire must break apart. The nations trapped inside it deserve freedom. Evil that is not destroyed always comes back stronger.

Claims that the Baltic States allow Ukraine to use their airspace are utter nonsense - and Russia knows it. Moscow’s threats against the Baltic States are not a sign of strength, but of weakness. Russia is failing on the battlefield in Ukraine and is trying to intimidate us into reducing our support for Ukraine. The right response is to do the opposite: increase our support to Ukraine and boost Europe’s defences even further.
