Today @jpmorgan, the world's largest bank by market cap per @WSJ, announced they're launching their first ever tokenized money market fund—MONY—on Ethereum. The firm is seeding the fund with $100M of its own capital before opening to outside investors on Tuesday.

Bhutan just became the first nation to anchor its national digital identity system on Ethereum. 800,000 citizens. Bhutan chose Ethereum for something that actually matters: its citizens' digital identity. Why would a sovereign nation choose Ethereum over using enterprise solutions? the same reason Mario Draghi calls Europe's 80% dependency on foreign digital infrastructure an "existential challenge." They don't want to be held hostage. Bhutan just showed there's another way: build on neutral protocols that no one owns but everyone can verify. I'm guessing nations need - - Systems that outlive any single company - Infrastructure, they can't be locked out of - Protocols that won't change based on quarterly earnings Speed and fees matter for traders. Sovereignty and neutrality matter for nations.

Personal update: I’m stepping away from my role at PSE and EF to touch grass It’s been 6 incredible years at the @EthereumFndn — easily the most fulfilling and exciting of my life: - built out @ethdotorg from a 5-page website to an education hub of 100s of resources translated across 50+ languages that helps millions of visitors each month, supported by thousands of contributors around the globe - navigated @PrivacyEthereum through a challenging period — from a chaotic cryptography R&D lab of 100 people, 100s of grants, 50+ projects — to a leaner, more focused team of world-class talent, with a stable, integrated place within EF, and a clear mission, direction, and strong new leaders PSE pioneered lot of incredible technology, from MACI and Semaphore, to zkEVMs, zkEmail, zkPassport, zkTLS, and more. I look forward to everything we'll help build, from confidential DeFi, governance, and computation, to privacy-preserving RPCs, to pluralistic ZK identity. There’s still plenty of work left to do, but I feel confident passing the torch to @barinov, @AndyGuzmanEth, and the rest of the team who are ready to step up I love @Ethereum and the EF and will keep contributing to the ecosystem, but first I need to unplug and rebalance in order to protect my energy and my health. I feel ready to step away because I believe in the trajectory of PSE, EF, and Ethereum. That is thanks to all of your hard work — so thank you! We’ve shipped a lot of cool software, but by far the most satisfying work has been building the personal connections with all of you across the ecosystem.
