Fort Bend ISD will reopen tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, 2026 and will resume our regular schedule. All classes, afterschool activities, UIL/athletic events, and Extended Learning will take place at regularly scheduled times. Please be aware that roadways, parking lots, or sidewalks could contain isolated pockets of ice, so we urge everyone to take extra care and caution as you drive, walk or ride bicycles to school. We look forward to welcoming all students and staff back to school and work tomorrow for a safe and productive day!

Fort Bend ISD is prioritizing the safety and well-being of students, staff, and families as hazardous winter weather is expected across the region. Out of an abundance of caution: • All FBISD athletic events and weekend activities scheduled for Saturday, January 24 and Sunday, January 25, are canceled. • FBISD schools and district offices will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. This includes all classes, after-school activities, athletic events, and extended learning programs. FBISD encourages staff and families to prepare for severe winter weather conditions expected later this weekend. Our 2nd Grade Service Sentinels had an unforgettable day at Brazos Bend State Park! They hiked 1.2 miles around the scenic 40-Acre Lake & got to see real alligators up close in the wild! 🐊🌿 It was a perfect blend of adventure, learning, & nature appreciation. @FBISDPremierOps
