Accountability post, I did read and pray tonight! Gotta get these basic habits back.

I have been both the struggling sailor, and the one keeping my light. Often, I am struggling to not be pulled in by the waves while I keep my lamp filled with oil. Never forget that our call is to be a light. You never know who the Savior may save through you. Heck, it might even be yourself.

And here is the misunderstanding. The facsimiles are NOT what the text was translated from. The facsimiles were provided for an interpretation by Abraham, as he says in places such as Abraham 1:12, "And it came to pass that the priests laid violence upon me, that they might slay me also, as they did those virgins upon this altar; and that you may have a knowledge of this altar, I will refer you to the representation at the commencement of this record." The facsimiles are NOT the source text, but rather an interpretation based upon the text, using Egyptian related symbolism. And this view, the one consistent with the text, does hold up to scrutiny.

How else can I be more clear? Joe posted the translation. He printed the facsimile. You are arguing that the artwork in the first Spider-Man comic book can be "translated" into something like the Bible... We have the facsimile. We have Joe's interpretation. He's a liar. @deanandsha @jaredadairbell It's completely true. Most criticisms of the Book of Abraham are based off of a misunderstanding, particularly of the purpose of the facsimiles. Additionally, the facsimiles, or the interpretation of them, is very much evidence of Joseph Smith's divine inspiration.

Does anyone else find it interesting that the focal point of authority and worship for the Apostolic traditions are those which would fall under the Aaronic, or preparatory priesthood, for us?

@Scath_na_Gealai @jesse_k_fox Is Jesus being made flesh an expression of God in your eyes? Is Jesus just another way of God expressing Himself, or a way of the single person of God revealing Himself, but not actually God as a distinct person?

A nude bodysuit over your garments. That's wild ngl. I would have never thought to do something like that in a million years. I steered clear of the conversion up until now. I saw the photos. I was like, how can she possibly call that garment-friendly. Seems sus. Like those Jewish people who have all the tricks for getting around their commandments.

This is really the best they've got?
