@LLinnbyr @Gutsick_Gibbon Your deliberate misinterpretation isn’t my fault.
English

Damn didn't know I had to choose between being seen as a legal equal to men and liking babies/being a mom.
gamergate ruined so many men dude
𝕊𝕠𝕝𝕒 ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕕 🎚️@sola_chad
She bought the lies of feminism … had never held a baby before. After holding this precious child, in tears she proclaims she wants 8 babies of her own. Holding a baby is like a factory reset for women.
English

@JasperWhalen1 @Gutsick_Gibbon “Why aren't the people fighting against world hunger also fighting for this other thing I care about!!!”
That’s what you sound like.
English

@Gutsick_Gibbon If feminists wanted legal gender equality, they’d stand up for the infringed rights of boys and men.
They can’t, because humility would kill them, so they simply rewrite our lives when our rights are infringed.
English

@OshieMr @Carina_Amyth @sola_chad This is a stupid follow up. You are conflating babies with nuclear family dynamics and posting a personal opinion.
English

@JordanRubi53069 @steven_woji @DNLSHLR @realchasegeiser You think learning how to conduct research and understand the scientific method makes you less likely to become an atheist?
English

@steven_woji @DNLSHLR @realchasegeiser I just dont understand how you can go to university to study engineering, science or math and then come back a fem com atheist. Like unless youre going into humanities to study those fields, you will be the same minded as you were before. Its just fear mongering imo

I pay 1,000 dollars a month to send my daughter to catholic school to protect her from woke bullshit.
I just went to her first recital where the kids are singing the theme song from the musical Rent, about how many minutes are left in a year in the context of being diagnosed with aids.
What the actual fuck.
English

She is upset that she wasn’t able to deliver vaginally because her medical history contraindicated a vaginal delivery.
I understand why she felt like her autonomy was taken, but in this case she was threatening not just her life but her child’s life. At some point your determination to have things your way has to take a backseat for the good of your child.

This is Cherise Doyley.
She was 12 hours into labor when a nurse told her to cover up with a bedsheet.
Then a tablet appeared at her bedside.
On the screen: a judge. Lawyers. Hospital staff.
She hadn’t asked for a hearing. The hospital had.
Doyley is a professional birthing doula. She refused a C-section — she’d had three before, and one left her hemorrhaging. She knew the risks.
It didn’t matter.
And here’s the part people should pay attention to.
The state filed an emergency petition. She had minutes to prepare. No lawyer. No advocate.
A three-hour hearing. In the middle of active labor.
A judge decided how she would give birth.
This is the fetal personhood movement, fully realized.
And it’s already happening. To Black women. In Florida.
Read the full @ProPublica investigation.
“A judge decided how she would give birth.
That’s legal right now.
Should it be?

@nolelife1980 @carfo @ScottPresler That’s photo ID. Thats not the save act. Photo ID is not sufficient to vote under the save act.
English

@nolelife1980 @carfo @ScottPresler Provide a source or get out of here with that bullshit. 73% of democrats are not going to be on board with disenfranchising republican female voters. Unless they have finally given up on women’s rights. I don’t know a single liberal woman who is cool with that.
English

@nolelife1980 @carfo @ScottPresler No, for several reasons. The bill has other power grabs that dems don’t like, but also, purposely disenfranchising voters, regardless of party, is DEEPLY unpopular with left wing voters. Dems that support such an idea would be destroyed.
English

@LLinnbyr @carfo @ScottPresler If this is the case this should make Dems want the bill signed into law, no?
English

@tsteele93 @atrupar That’s what the investigation is for, Tom. To determine who screwed up.
English

It's WAR. People get killed in wars. If it wasn't deliberate then you don't punish someone for it.
When you are launching missiles at another country because they weren't playing by the rules, you don't have ridiculous rules of engagement.
If it was deliberate, then sure.
But war is about killing people and there will always be collateral damage and it will always be unfortunate.
People trying to "civilize" war with all of these rules are just kidding themselves, or they are trying to use them as a way to punish leaders they don't like.
Who would you suggest we punish? Because it looks very much like that would be some mid-level intelligence agent who missed something.
Or are you trying to use this to punish someone like Hegseth who was operating on that intelligence in good faith? Because that's what it looks like.
They have fired thousands of missiles. You think they aren't going to have some that don't hit the target they were aiming for or that some won't be targeted on erroneous data? Of course they will. It is WAR. It's never pretty. It's never perfect. People are caught up in the explosions and aftermath. That's why we avoid it if we can.
If Iran hadn't pursued nuclear weapons when the entire world told them not to, then this wouldn't happen.
So in reality, the people responsible have been punished. Khamenei is dead.
English

@nolelife1980 @carfo @ScottPresler You’re living in fantasy land if you think zero republican votes will be affected. Some percentage of married suburban women (who tend to swing red) will be disenfranchised. I know who won’t be affected though.
English

@LLinnbyr @carfo @ScottPresler Conservative women aren’t dumbasses and will figure out how to get their last name to match their voter registration.
English

@nolelife1980 @carfo @ScottPresler Yeah the type that get married and legally change their last name to their husbands. Wonder which party that hurts more.
English

@carfo @ScottPresler Bull shizzles… If I had to,( and it was easy peezy), they can too! It is illogical to think we don’t need proper ID. Period, end of bull story! Propaganda much!!!
English

@XzanderNM @micah_erfan @Rob456458768303 @TonyTozser Uh oh. That $100 ticket will eat into the beer money.
English

@micah_erfan @Rob456458768303 @TonyTozser "You can change your voter registration without changing your driver's license. Students do that all the time. In fact, most of my friends at UVA Law have done that."
Those law students are breaking the law.

English

I voted 2 days ago in Virginia.
I showed a student ID to vote.
Under the SAVE Act, the polling location would have rejected that ID and turned me away.
The SAVE Act is not a voter ID bill. It is a proof of citizenship bill.
Karoline Leavitt@PressSec
Americans of all political stripes want voter ID requirements in our elections. Pass the SAVE America Act!
English

@KristiLeighTV @hoop6363 Then don’t. Trust me, the dental industry isn’t hurting without your business.
English

@hoop6363 But for some reason I have a hard time trusting "the experts" now....
English

@Brian5_8_1899 @LauraJedeed There is some truth that this is a reaction to the social justice wars from the left but the correct response isn’t to adopt the racist belief system you were accused of having.
English

@tsteele93 @atrupar Someone should be held responsible, Tom. What is the point of defending our country if we don’t defend our values. If I messed up at work and it killed 170 people I would lose my job. There should be an investigation to determine how this happened and accountability.
English

@LLinnbyr @atrupar They had imperfect Intel. We can't possibly have perfect knowledge of the interior of Iran.
It is a tragedy. But it wasn't on purpose and could have been avoided if Iran quit trying to acquire nukes.
The big picture is war is a tragedy. But Iran having nukes is unacceptable.
English

@royermattw I get you want to help but please listen!!! This is the abortion pill. This is different than birth control or plan B (emergency contraceptive). Muddying the waters and confusing the two is what the right wants! It fuels the fire to claim contraceptive is abortion. Delete.
English

And yes an emergency form of contraception is still considered birth control. Contraception is birth control.
The only reason to not call it that and call it the “abortion pill” is to increase shame to dissuade its use and to encourage restrictions on it.
We can debate semantics but its the same category and very slippery slope all the way down.
English

“You’re overreacting. They’re never ACTUALLY going to ban birth control.” - some of y’all in 2024
Burgess Everett@burgessev
Sen. Hawley says he’s introducing legislation to ban mifepristone — he’s gotten super frustrated with the pace of the FDA’s safety review
English

@maxnotwork @AntiClimaco When you say screenshot… you mean they are taking a picture of chatgpt up on the screen? And they did this twice? Did they explain why they did it a second time even though they were told not to do it? This is…incredible.
English

@AntiClimaco have a student rn that got a 0 on a hw because it was a chatgpt screenshot. they submitted a regrade and we again emphasized that they could not submit chatgpt homework. The very next homework? another gpt screenshot. we are at wits end
English

@tsteele93 @atrupar We have family housing, daycares and schools on bases here. How is that different? The issue is that they mistakenly hit the school thinking it was a different target. We literally have precision weapons. This shouldn’t happen.
English

Wait, are you telling me that attacking another country could result in accidental death of civilians if the country you are attacking put a naval installation 200 feet from a girls school?
Next you'll tell me that we should just let Iran build a nuke and attack Israel with it, because the price is just too high to keep them from doing so. 🤦
