@ScottPresler Do you know what acclimation is? It's a voice-vote, essentially. In order to not be in official recess, the Senate does a pro-forma session, during one of those some 51 Senators can stay behind, fill a quorum, and voice vote reauthorizing the DHS. That's entirely legal.

If I were a United States Senator, I would forgo my time with family during Easter & not go home until the Department of Homeland Security is fully funded. I would absolutely sacrifice my personal life to ensure that unpaid TSA agents finally get the pay they deserve.

We have all the money in the world to fund nato, foreign wars, "foreign aid," etc. But we somehow don't have enough money to fund schools with security or nutritional food. Our children deserve this. Our priorities are ass backward.
